And, for a display piece, I think the accuracy has to win out over the very rare instance that you’d want to change the look. Three bags are marked 11 and each one finishes one of the three distinct versions of the car from each film. This is a great piece of 1980’s nostalgia and without question one of the most famous movie vehicles, well, ever. Authentic features include opening gull-wing doors, tires that fold for flight mode, the light-up flux capacitor, printed dashboard dates and opening hood, plus a hoverboard and swappable license plates.Elevate and hold your LEGO® Back to the Future Time Machine in a flying or dynamic position with a choice of two custom display stand options. The windscreen was designed by element designer Mani Zamani, and the new slope part was designed by element designer Yoel Mazur in a collaborative, problem-solving fashion with the set designer (and former New Elementary colleague! t believe your eyes when the Time Machine enters flight mode, thanks to one of two NC Push Boards included in this kit. Here’s a look at the 2022 Marty McFly and Doc Brown minifigures – Marty is in his trademark red vest that we know and love, but Doc Brown is decked out in his BTTF 2 yellow suit, which is a fresh new look for him.

Maybe the marketing folks got things confused with the CUUSOO 21103 Back to the Future version that did have a unique printed date tile. A particularly satisfying play feature is how the wheels rotate 90 degrees – there’s a bar at the bottom, which can snap and switch the position of the wheels. The action is firm and satisfying to play with, and the wheels stay firmly locked in either position. You can see that in action here – while they open up just fine, there isn’t enough friction to counterbalance the weight of the doors, and they’ll drop closed when you release them.A window frame is used to hold a clear pane, and while it’s a genius bit of parts use, it’s really in there. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. But… despite being months late for my other half’s birthday present, it arrived and the delorian is now displayed with pride. One of the main issues they had was when filming scenes with the doors open the air compressors in them would give out and the doors would close, often mid-take with the actors halfway through their dialogue. Personally, one set will be enough for me, but it’s not a set that I’ll be taking apart for spare parts any time soon.

You probably won't be able to wait until this point to activate the wheels (as I suggested earlier) because it's far too exciting. Display your LEGO® Back to the Future Time Machine in our Wicked Brick® custom display case, with an option of three case designs and backgrounds, inspired by each film from the iconic trilogy. I installed some cables in different ways than how it shows on the instructions and this made them more invisible. That said, the LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine is still a great and worthy set to add to your collection, especially if you want to expand your Creator Expert garage, and if you’re a fan of BTTF.From the OUTATIME number plate to the famous wing doors, everything has been thought of with this model. All three of the variant builds look good, the action features are pretty solid, and you get two exclusive figures to taunt your friends with.

You can see some exclusive pictures of DeLorean prototypes as well as other possible solutions for the slope on our Facebook or Instagram feeds. This means that you’re not able to easily display the Delorean with the gullwings popped open, which is a shame as it’s one of the Delorean’s most iconic features, and when you picture a Delorean, you’re likely visualising it with the Gullwing doors raised. I'm pleasantly surprised to see these alternate versions of Doc Brown and Marty McFly since rumours suggested the set came without display figures. The pile of parts here is shared between the three versions, so swapping between them isn’t quite as easy as it might be. crystal clear Perspex® display case, assembled with our uniquely designed screws and connector cubes, allowing you to easily secure the case together.
