Kellar and Kate’s relationship moved as fast as a turtle for the first 50% and then all of a sudden this insanely intense chemistry appears and bam, they’re finally together.

This book is up there on my favourite reads of 2014, hell even up there on my favourite reads of ALL TIME!HOWEVER in these small mundane daily tasks Katie is causing these small tremors in the lives of those she comes in contact with. I inhaled Bright Side in one sitting and when it was over, I was left staring into space and I’m not really sure how to adequately convey my thoughts and express my feelings.

The story unwinds in a way that lets you really feel how close Kate becomes to the people around her. I'm not going to say anything else other than this book is The Book Of Life no joke it touched me more than anything I've read in a long long time. When the book starts Kate is about to start college in the small town of Grant Minnesota; leaving behind her best friend Gus and the sunny skies of San Diego, California. So, when Kate leaves San Diego to attend college in the small town of Grant, Minnesota, the last thing she expects is to fall hard for Keller Banks.

Ewwww, I can't even imagine spooning or just sleeping with my male friends, so awkward(It may happen sometimes when you're drunk or something, but all the time? Thank you Kim for the gift that is Bright Side, for sharing your words and for sharing your world of music. We are elegant creatures capable of depth and empathy and heartbreak, who clutch Kindles and hurt and feel – especially at 3 AM.

I don't have a personal experience in the subject matter so I don't know how I would cope being at either side of the story, but I know for sure it requires a lot of strength for all involved.So I’m not telling you what all goes down, or really any of the many events that will just leave you in awe of this book and this magnificent author’s writing.

I always feel like it's only fair when this happens to analyze if there isn't something wrong with ME. Raucous, fun and devil-may-care they may be at times but it’s not only heartening but touching to see the camaraderie and love the Old-But-Not-Dead Club members have for each other. My heart alternated between overflowing with happiness and being completely annihilated and you know what? My solution was to show a “FOR RENT” sign over what might be an eviction notice, the shabby-looking bus and its hastily stowed belongings being trailed by his friends, and his concerned-looking mother seated up front.

I liked Kate’s outlook on life, but there were so many things that I didn’t love about the characters. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. The characters say what they mean and mean what they say; no unnecessary misunderstandings or dare I say angst. I thought the story had several aspects that felt forced and inorganic, nevertheless, I was completely invested in Kate (aka Bright Side); although not so much the numerous side characters as they felt like props whose main function was to make “Bright Side” look all bright, sunny, and perfect. There is no mistaking the strength of their bond, or the fact that there are feelings shared that extend beyond the bounds of normal friendship.
