A new departure for Nick and from the authors point I applaud him for using ex military characters who through their service to their country have become disabled in one way or another and have not received the sort of support or acclaim that say their American brothers and sisters in arms enjoy. Airborne optics would be able to pick us up from so far away we wouldn’t be able to see the helicopter platform.

It would be right up his street because he’d be the ultimate undercover operator, a Rasta with only one good arm. It wasn’t brain surgery: it was just stripping away the rubbish that meant nothing and didn’t help in working out what had happened and what we were going to do about it.After the utter disappointment of the previous novel Cold Blood, I was tempted to give Andy McNab a rest and leave the Nick Stone series in the rear view mirror. So I was gutted to find this is a bit of a continuation with McNab and his disabled ex-servicemen still together and dealing with the fall-out from the previous book. McNab is the author of seven fast action thrillers, highly acclaimed for their authenticity and all Sunday Times bestsellers. Het is van levensbelang voor zijn collega-soldaten die met hem betrokken waren bij undercoveracties in o. Stone is back on home turf, on the hunt for a world-class hacker and this time he has a team to work with.

Backed into a corner by a man he knows he cannot trust, ex-deniable operator Nick Stone strikes a devil's bargain. He wrote about his experiences in three books: the phenomenal bestseller Bravo Two Zero, Immediate Action and Seven Troop.

Like the best action films in book form' FHMNick Stone is back in London but if he thought he was home for a break, he's very, very wrong. Security was so much better now than it had been in my thieving days, when you knew you could just smash the unprotected float-glass and grab a fistful of coins from the gas and electricity meters – and then probably take a dump in the sink for a laugh. My only problem lay in the fact that even having read the previous book, Cold Blood, I was still fairly bemused by the first section of the book, as information is drip-fed very slowly, and for a while I didn’t know and couldn’t remember who the Owl was or why the memory sticks the team were all at such pains to keep hidden were so important. The lawyers, bankers, everyone seems to be making money out of the money I can’t get to – not for now, anyway.

Rio didn’t bother picking up the phone, just tapped with his middle finger, the only one that wasn’t covered with sauce. Ware de eerste verhalen nog doorspekt met duizenden kilo's munitie en knalden de wapens van het papier, in dat opzicht is het allemaal wat milder geworden. Like the best action films in book form' FHMNick Stone is back in London but if he thought he was home for a break, hes very, very wrong.

For James Mercer, the financial ruin of his family by the institutions they trusted can never be undone. Backed into a corner by a man he knows he cannot trust, ex-deniable operator Nick Stone strikes a devil’s bargain. Line of Fire is less all-out action and in places more techno-thriller than Andy McNab usually serves up, but an outing for ex-SAS covert operator Nick Stone is never dull. I wasn't sure where this was going to start with, based in Cornwall and not the usual exotic or thrilling locations in these novels. But we couldn’t undo the situation we were in because we didn’t know who was on our case, the Owl, his bit of the CIA-within-the-CIA or whoever the f*** it was he worked for, or someone else altogether.
