What’s more, thanks to Yeoh’s magnificent central turn, even in its weaker moments, there’s usually something of interest happening. Suu Kyi spent almost 15 years under house arrest for leading a non-violent uprising against Burma's long-standing military dictatorship. She makes easy money out of cinephiles desparate for foreign movies, alluding she has a ripped dvd with official subtitles when in fact she provides a non functioning file with no accountability. They set out for a night on the town together, and romance is soon in the air when they share a meal at a spaghetti restaurant.

It’s a film that tells the real life story of Aung San Suu Kyi, the Nobel-prize winning campaigner who fought for democracy in Burma.

Unfortunately most of the DVD I've received from them were poor in quality, usually from being blurry. Given they came from America and I'm uk they came relatively quick, seller sent a text when the dvds were dispatched.The original duo's offspring, mischievous pup Scamp (voiced by Scott Wolf), is always getting into trouble. We can all love her for who she is, for what she is, for the tragedies that she has faced and hopefully her government will stand by their word and let her be the wonderful woman she is.In many ways this shares all the usual characteristics of BBC dramas; beautiful photography and locations, good period detail, interesting characters and excellent direction and pacing.
