So, Judd was one of a group of artists who was practicing this genre of art in the 1960s in Manhattan. She tackles questions such as how to practice minimalism with a large family or while homeschooling. This book is an excellent guide on how to simplify life, stay true to God’s Word, and reduce physical possessions. Our goal:Find the best Minimalism books according to the internet (not just one random person's opinion). There’s more than enough significant data and information to convince the reader that our state lotteries are definitely being manipulated and controlled, illegally.

It’s made up of a list of 55 tips (plus 15 extra at the end), each accompanied by a short description or anecdote. We can’t go back to only having wooden toilets and eating in the dark, but I want to remember the fact that how things are is not the way they always were. So many books, including this book in previous chapters, mention a client just “eventually coming to the realization” on something massive. What I found particularly useful in the last few chapters was the practical advice on how to keep your home decluttered in the long run. I recommend this book because it beautifully combines two popular trends — decluttering and sustainable living. The key premise of Minimalism is that the way in which society treats extrinsic rewards like money, possessions, and status as primary is flawed, driven by commercial interests that do not serve the average person. They mentioned very briefly donating to more specific originations than just your local Goodwill but don’t explained why (PS: The big places get too overwhelmed with donations and end up trashing most of it).

The book tells a personal story of a family who overcame their overwhelming debt and liberated themselves from their material possessions, which had taken over their lives. I highly recommend it to anyone who craves simplicity at home, but feels frustrated by the idealism often exhibited in minimalist books. I think, when confronting something like climate change or just the superhuman scale of everything that we’re dealing with right now, there is that desire to live more in the shadows, or to just live with what’s already around us—to live more quietly and softly than we have before.Bea Johnson brings a fresh look at a way of living in Zero Waste Home that gives back while also being practical. A great way to examine the minimalist lifestyle while also making your space one that you feel comfortable and happy in. Minimalist thought is threaded through Stoicism and Zen Buddhism; absence and space became major preoccupations of 1960s US art. The breadth of perspective and structural clarity with which these rich sources are presented is refreshing, the connections illuminating. To your right, a wise mentor shares their experiences and lessons learned from their minimalist journey.
