Mio, the Robot is the perfect tool to introduce you to the world of robotics and programming in an easy and fun way. The child can have fun assembling and programming it thanks to 5 play modes (3 offline and 2 via the app). Approved by the Science Museum and part of the STEM technology (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) makes this a great toy. I think kids with a specific interest of science or building with electrical parts would particularly benefit from a gift like this. I thought it looked like it should have something covering all the wires on the back, but that’s where the controls are and it is supposed to be that way.

Once we downloaded the app we did struggle to get the app to work as it should but I’m not sure whether this was me and not being great at technology.
