This triple distilled vodka is made in Kazakhstan with the same heroic spirit as the brave space dogs. It is then filtered through carbon and silver to create one of the best tasting vodkas in the segment. You'll struggle to find a cocktail or mixer it won't go perfectly with, but we prefer to add a shot of it to an ice cold glass of Fentimans Curiosity Cola, a mix otherwise known to you and us as "Curious Cosmonauts". Recently-formed brand management company Ellustria is set to unveil three new expressions – a gin, vodka and a Cognac-based spirit.

That is why when there were plans to introduce this Kazakhstan made vodka , we soon found inspiration in the stars. From the Vodka you can expect some Peppery notes at the forefront infused with hints of Citrus Lemon and an Earthy undertone. Not only by standing out from the rest but also by the virtue of honoring a great moment in time, and the spirit that got us there. Belka and Strelka orbited the earth 18 times aboard Sputnik 5 on 19th August 1960 before landing safely back on earth as canine heroes. The long connection between the Royal Navy and rum can be traced back to 1655 and Vice-Admiral William Penn's expedition to the West Indies.

It's an extremely versatile vodka that has been created in the same pioneering spirit that helped pave the way for Belka and Strelka's heroism.

After establishing the origin of this vodka’s story we wanted to create a design that would stand out from its comrades.The real Belka and Strelka, preserved via taxidermy, reside at the Memorial Museum of Cosmonautics in Moscow. This Kazakhstan vodka is named after the world's first cosmonauts, two dogs who were launched into space from Baikanur in Kazakhstan. This dynamic duo of dogs ventured out into space aboard the Sputnik 5 back in August 1960, orbiting Earth 18 times before safely landing.
