Season 12 was reissued, with near identical packaging and contents (the only changes being that the set was marked as a second edition on the bottom of the J-card and slightly altered artwork on the spine), in 2020. Pertwee) Season 7, Season 9, Season 11, (Tom Baker) Season 13, Season 15, Season 16, Season 17, (Davison) Season 20, The Five Doctors, Season 21, (Colin Baker) Season 22, (McCoy) Season 25 and (McGann) The TV Movie. With the exception of The Sea Devils, all of these releases took place after the change of BBC logo, and had reversable sleeves to show the older white BBC logo, enabling fans to have a matching set with other older releases. We’ve been one full set behind the UK for the past few years and I feel like trailers for the next sets have been released generally around the time that we’re expecting the previous release.

Britbox also doesn’t include many of 1960’s Doctor Who, and as far as I’m aware, none of the extras from The Collection sets. The Doctor is on the planet Mendorax Dellora in 5343, where due to a case of mistaken identity he is recruited by his former companion and wife River Song to assist her in removing a diamond from the head of King Hydroflax after his maligned attempt to steal it. He tells a nearby child to go to the city and inform the Time Lords he is on his way and that he knows what they did. It's interesting to see where things go from here with the animations and an eye to trying to release complete boxsets on Blue-Ray.

Surprised that River cannot identify his newest face, the Doctor struggles to break the news to her while learning how she acts on her own – and how many other lovers she has had.A four-person rescue team from Triton arrives at Le Verrier Lab, a space station in the 38th century in orbit around Neptune which has fallen silent. I imagine them trying to sneak into the 60th would have far less effect especially seeing as they were just in power of the doctor. In 2021, the BBC announced reissues of simpler packaging with a standard slipcase, starting with seasons 12 and 19. So to be clear, it’s not about rushing the hardworking people on these sets, and I don’t agree with Levine’s take on the silence.

Behind the disc tray is an image of the face of the relevant Doctor from the Title Sequence for that particular Season (with the exception of the First Doctor which uses a publicity Shot as his era didn't have his Face in the Titles) which can be seen by removing the last disc. He is followed by a creature which intends to torture him, but discovers that after giving a confession of some kind, the creature will temporarily retreat and the castle will shift its form. The three arrive at the Black Archive where Bonnie has found there are two Osgood Boxes, one which would either unmask the Zygons or make their human forms permanent, and the other which would destroy either every Zygon or everyone in London.

Rebels from a future Earth conquered by the Daleks travel to the 20th Century to change the course of history. A chap who used to work for the BBC and now works for the Radio Times commented on it and stated that its highly unlikely this collection will ever be completed due to the increasing costs of production and the diminishing market. The Doctor and Clara mourn, but then the Doctor realises his face [N 1] is a reminder that he does not have to follow the rules of time and space. There would be outrage on the streets and social media would be set on fire if it was, says former showrunner". For example, Tomorrow's Times: The Sixth Doctor, originally included on the Vengeance on Varos Special Edition DVD, was included instead on the Bluray release of Season 23.On 9 July 2015, the first trailer for the series was released, alongside the confirmation of the airdate of "The Magician's Apprentice". Seasons 12, 19 and 18 were originally released with card slipcases, however no slipcase was included with the release of season 10 onward, and reissues of seasons 12, 19 and 18 also did not include slipcases.
