Description

Now, in this groundbreaking book, Sharma makes his transformational system available to anyone who is ready for undefeatable positivity, monumental productivity, deep spiritual freedom and a life of helping others. Blaming other people or circumstances for your problems might soothe your ego, but it will also trap you in a mindset of helplessness: You’ll convince yourself that you’re powerless and there’s no point in trying to improve your situation.

For over twenty-five years, leadership legend and personal-mastery path-blazer Robin Sharma has mentored billionaires, business titans, professional-sports superstars and entertainment royalty via a revolutionary methodology that led them to accomplish rare-air results. So by instinct, you would think to simply put this jargon-loaded book down and read the original source - which you should. The former limits that have shackled you and the failures that have hurt you have been necessary for the realization of your mastery. I would have much preferred if it was only the lesson at the end, but then it would literally turn into an amalgamation of all his previous books - which it is.

Evolution, elevation and even outright transformation are part of the factory-installed hardware that makes you you. Above all, this descriptive, confusing way of writing, there is nothing new you will discover or learn. These apparent difficulties have actually been the stepping stones for your current and future victories. Robin Sharma is one of the world’s premier thinkers on leadership, personal growth and life management. The rest, for anyone familiar with the blockbuster status of The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, is history. Sharma says that an everyday hero finds inspiration in hardship and failure; every setback is a chance to learn and a reason to improve. The main reason to keep pushing for better - even when you're at the top - is not more fame, fortune and adulation.

I shared that I’d discovered valuable ways to live more happily, more confidently, more productively and access far more aliveness. I recommend it to anyone interested in learning about leadership via great stories and very well crafted life advise, and getting empowered to a supercharged level from a best selling author and top leadership expert.

I do love some good empowerment, but for me this book was difficult to listen at several points, because Robin Sharma has a very well earned very high Self-Esteem, which can be easily confused with Ego by people in the wrong mental framework. Additionally, he cited words and inspiring stories of popular filmmakers, philosophers, Noble laureates, musicians, and so on. It’s far too easy to spend an entire existence climbing a series of mountains only to realize at the end that we scaled the wrong ones. To finalize, even though I did not fully enjoy my first run into this book due to the fights with myself, I definitively learned a ton out of it.
