George Clooney has the lifestyle, the glamorous wife and now he has joined up with friends to produce Casamigos Blanco Tequila. Handcrafted in small batches by fourth-generation mezcaleros, our Joven, Reposado, and Añejo mezcals are all made with perfectly ripe, sustainable Espadín agave, double distilled in the Santiago Matatlan Valley of Oaxaca, Mexico. This is a very nice mezcal, it really depends on the batch, with the higher batches, they have got better and it’s worth a second look. As such we have invested in global protection and take action against every infringement of our rights. Despite the foul offensive odor the taste was very weak and mostly flavorless with just an aftertaste of white granulated sugar and peroxide. Rested for two months, this wonderful Blanco has tasting notes of citrus, vanilla and sweet agave, with a long smooth finish. With sustainability at its core and a focus on fair trade and authenticity, Ilegal marries this attitude with a traditional, meticulous approach to production. Alabama, Arkansas, Hawaii, Iowa, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.The agave's are roasted for 5-7 days in earth lined pits and are then crushed using a horse drawn Tahona stone mill. A truly premium tequila, maple, clove and bittersweet orange come through in the aroma and lead to roasted sweet agave and chocolate on the palate.

As the smoke fades, fruity sweetness comes through – more agave and green apple, along with peppery spice, mint and eucalyptus. Airborne yeasts then ferment the cooked and crushed agave, and distillation takes place in small alembic stills. Soon, this mezcal was being carried in the luggage of travellers passing from Guatemala to America and beyond. Aromatic and awash with the wonderful sweetness of 100% blue agave, Arette Anejo has pepperiness which keeps you sipping and deliciously light vanilla notes tempting you to have just one more glass.Smoky flavor, enjoyable smell, it has a bit of a kick when it goes down and the burn lingers for a few minutes. Once in his bar, it didn’t take long for word to get out about this smooth and smoky spirit that was only available from the backroom at Café No Sé.
