Description

Nell Parrish has spent her young life in the foster care system. She gets placed with a young family who have a daughter, and things are really looking up for Nell. Unfortunately, she's leaving her best friend behind in the group home, but she assures her that nothing will change and they'll visit. Her friend doesn't think that will happen and while she's glad for Nell, she's sad and jealous.

Into the Void focuses on the beginnings of the Jedi, to their historic roots. In fact, the few force-sensitive individuals in this book are actually called Je’daii, and they are far less concerned with clinging to the light side than their later descendants. The Je’daii look to walk a balance between light and dark, keeping a healthy tension, whereas the Jedi most of us know were ultimately concerned with never straying anywhere near the dark. our main character Nell is in the foster system and has been through four families, none a big success story or anything. when she’s taken in by her fifth foster family though, they decide to take her on a yearly family tradition trip to their lakeside cabin. unbeknownst to her, there’s a strange entity in the woods taking and consuming unsuspecting victims, and the first night of the trip turns into a night of horrors she never could’ve imagined.New Tour Dates Announced For Tom Morris' Production Of Touching The Void". theatreweekly.com. I hate to say it but this was such a disappointment. I had heard this book wasn’t exactly the greatest, but I always try to go into books with a positive mindset. Unfortunately, I think it was a very weak book. Like other Star Wars audiobooks, Into the Void is filled with suspenseful music and every type of sound effect they can possibly fit in. Like a movie in your head, I can't recommend Star Wars audiobooks enough. And January LaVoy does an excellent job bringing Lanoree and every other character to life. This is a fast paced cosmic horror adventure with wonderful characters and some terrifying creatures. What more could you want? Here’s my theory – and I could be way off. Lebbon had this idea and sold it to Lucas with some Je’daii lore taped on. Osbourne won the "Literary Achievement" honor for "I Am Ozzy" at the 2010 Guys Choice Awards at Sony Pictures Studio in Culver City, California. Ozzy was presented with the award by Sir Ben Kingsley. When it comes to Star wars I've never gotten into any of the books, for that matter as far as I'm concerned only the original trilogy of movies are worth seeing. The cinemas were still showing propaganda-based war films (how the British army saved the world from Nazis). So I was very much aware of the constant threat of violence. There is also a little nod to the future in this book and boy did I love this little Easter Egg. The only thing I will say is she keeps dreaming of a “cloaked figure” OMG!!!! Hux, a not quite human with the ability to travel between dimensions and vanquish the monsters therein, is called upon to kill a particularly vile multi-tentacled entity that consumes human souls to survive. A human girl, Nell, who has spent practically all her life in foster homes, becomes the focal point between Hux and the entity due to her possessing "cosmic traits" that can save other humans, such as those in her newly adoptive family, from the ruthless entity.
