Armada Optimus Prime is a great figure, but it left me ever so slightly disappointed because the plastic in some areas felt a little thin and almost gross to touch, especially the blue areas like the super mode shoulders. Magnus both looks and feels like a Masterpiece toy almost, the plastic is a joy to touch and the figure's massive heft combined with the amazing material makes him so much fun to hold and pose! Optimus Prime is now decoed in white, dark gray and red, with a Ghostbusters "no ghosts" logo on his right shoulder in addition to the Autobot logo on his left. The trailer is decoed similarly, with Ecto-1 style details adorning the sides, as well as green ghost splatter. Optimus's vehicle mode bumper includes an "ECTO-35" plate, which can be seen through his chest in robot mode, referencing the 35th Anniversary of both the Transformers and Ghostbusters franchises. Here he is, hauling SS86 Hot Rod, Arcee, Jazz and Earthrise Cliffjumper. Even if one of the cars was a minibot, the fact that Magnus can actually haul 4 cars at once is just the icing on the cake for me. This is all I ever wanted: CHUG Ultra Magnus with the proper G1 alt mode and capacity to carry 4 Deluxe cars. Reminiscent of the fact that the original Return of Convoy Star Convoy figure could transform into a battle station, a "Z Base Mode" resembling that original battle station mode was created for the character and introduced in the Selects Special Comic promoting Super Megatron. This figure (and any of the Power of the Primes Evolution Optimus Prime molds) is capable of being configured into this form. In reference to the fact that the original Star Convoy figure included a Micromaster version of Hot Rod to man the battle station, one can populate the Z Base Mode with the Firedrive or Rodimus Prime Titan Masters from Hot Rod's Titans Return figure and the "Chaos on Velocitron" box set respectively. As said Hot Rod Micromaster could also store in the original Star Convoy figure's chest, one can also re-enact this functionality by taking a Matrix frame from a Power of the Primes Leader Class figure and placing one of the aforementioned Titan Masters in it, then inserting the frame into Star Convoy's chest. Unfortunately, the mission to Diadem turned into a battle with both Decepticons and Quintessons, and much of the installation's data was lost due to the damage. Cordon's memories were recovered (although the trooper ultimately declined to install them), but more notably, the Autobots also discovered a robot named " Spin-Out" in stasis. Diadem's records revealed that Spin-Out was originally a piloted battle machine built to fight " Waruders" on the Earth of a different dimension; the facility's Anterior Zeta computer system had recovered the mech from a crashed spacecraft 10 million years ago and elevated it into a living Transformer using Vector Sigma programming. While Delta Magnus questioned Anterior Zeta's subsequent decision to secretly disseminate a genetic imperative to fight the Waruders throughout the Cybertronian repair network, he agreed with the computer-brain that the threat posed by the faction was well worth preparing against. Masterpiece Spinout profile I think Commander Motormaster proves that they could do a good Magnus based on the G1 transformation at Commander size -- one where the trailer becomes most of the super robot and the design doesn't reuse the inner robot's joints for super mode. That would let them reuse the cab robot for a future Commander-class Powermaster Prime as well, which seems like something they'll want to do sooner or later.
