We meet Liz, whose husband, Andrew, has recently been killed in a tragic accident, while they were on holiday in Italy with friends. But Liz is left even more bereft, when she finds evidence that her husband may have been having an affair on the day of his funeral. It puts Liz in an impossible situation. How can she mourn Andrew now, when all she can think of is the idea of Andrew cheating on her? Will she ever find out what was going on now that he’s dead?

Leah is VERY trusting and leaves for a work trip immediately. She doesn’t even fill out any paperwork and pays Valerie in cash. Leah takes a picture of Valerie and Emma before she gets in her cab, but Valerie intentionally moves, blurring herself in the picture. OH ALSO, LEAH FORGOT HER DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY. Leah calls Adam to warn him and rushes to the hospital to protect her daughter. Oh, wait, she stops at Adam’s house first and tells him what she has found out. Adam is on board with his ex-wife, and they rush to save their daughter together. (Romantic?) On the way, Adam calls Cathy and apologizes to her. That isn’t going work. Cut to a sunny divorced suburban mother, Leah Watts. She is in search of an emergency weekend nanny for her daughter Emma. Valerie, a woman in a bad wig and glasses, waiting for her glow-up, shows up for an interview. Leah is impressed with Valerie’s references and hires her on the spot. He is married to Liz and his best friend friend is Owen who is secretly carrying a torch for someone and Andrew has secrets of his own She is a single mother who is chaotic apart from work. She is Liz’s best friend and business partner of Andrew. She holds many secrets, is a huge secret about to be revealed? She is also contemplating an indecent proposal….The president of the court, Mrs S.M Akintayo, after she had heard the plaintiff, adjourned the case till December 12. The story begins after the group of friends took their short break to the Amalfi Coast. It's the day of Andrew's funeral. Andrew was one of the guests, he and his wife Liz joined the others for a few days of relaxation, sunshine, good food and lots to drink. Andrew didn't return from the trip, he's missing, feared drowned and the authorities have pronounced him dead. Whilst Liz is devastated that her husband of twenty-five years, and the father of her two boys has died so tragically, she's also made a discovery. She's now angry and determined to find out which of her so-called best friends have betrayed her.

So I'm going through all these free LMN movies on YT, but this is just awful. It's so bad I'm embarrassed to admit I watched it to the predictable end. I know we talk alot about plot holes, but this REALLY stretches it.Cathy impersonates child services at the hospital and takes out the officer stationed outside of Emma’s room with a syringe. Then she takes out a nurse and steals Emma, escaping by pulling the fire alarm. Hey.’ Owen takes me in his arms, and for a second I allow myself to relax, my face in his shoulder. They’re the GreenEc lot,’ Poppy says. ‘God, I suppose I ought to go and schmooze them – sorry not schmooze … I didn’t mean to make this sound like some sort of grim networking event.’ They’re playing outside with Milo and Ben,’ Saffie says. ‘Owen’s watching them, don’t worry.’ I can sense how hard she’s working to say her ex-husband’s name in a neutral fashion, to not let their animosity spill into my husband’s funeral. Of the two of them, it’s Owen who has more right to be angry. Nine months ago Saffie left him for Todd.

After going through some Chinese dark web internet technology they are able to not just identify the crazy girlfriend but also CALL and get info from her psychiatrist? And he talks to this stranger about.a patient? Hmm. I would have told the psych to immediately call the local authorities to tell them about the killer's real identity. Problem solved. But no.... Have you seen the boys?’ I ask, aware that they’ve slipped from the orbit I’ve held them in so carefully all day. Cindy Busbyis so fun to watch on Lifetime. I love her Hallmark work, but she really has a good time in these Lifetime movies. This book felt like friendship school drama poured and moulded into the real life drama mixed with friend holiday drama. This lowkey feels like the typical holiday drama meets death kinda book. Todd is an an improbably good-looking, rich American with whom it transpired she’d been having an affair for some time, a betrayal of his best friend that Andrew – and I, if I’m honest - have struggled to come to terms with.A mother discovers that the nanny who framed her for abandoning her 3-year-old daughter is her ex-husband’s new girlfriend, but no one believes her version of events. Forced to go on the run to prove her innocence and protect her child, she learns that the woman is an escaped mental patient and must convince her estranged husband that he is dating a psychopath before it’s too late. (2021) All of the actors played their roles believably, and the script covered a lot of ground. I didn't notice any gaping plot holes...which any Lifetime frequent watcher knows is almost never the case. I did think it was strange that Leah and Adam didn't fight over their kid, but for some reason she had to hide her work trip from him. It didn't make sense to me that Emma couldn't stay with Adam and perhaps in their situation, a nanny would work full-time for both homes anyway. I think it was meant to infer Leah perceived he would pounce on any chance to pursue custody, and to of course set up this movie, but it was a little murky to understand. When they explained the divorce, it really just sounded like stubbornness on both of their parts. Anyway, after Adam's initial disbelief at the situation, I liked that he didn't believe Leah to be capable of that which she was accused. I liked how he realized immediately when Valerie/Lisa lied and he was on board with his wife from that point. There was so much happening already that keeping them at odds was unnecessary drama, particularly since it was their daughter and they were both manipulated. If the movie had more time, it would be interesting to see if over the course of his relationship with Lisa whether or not things with Leah deteriorated. I also liked that they clarified he met Lisa after the divorce. Lifetime likes to make men cheaters, and there was enough going on w/o that. I mean … to the extent that we know anybody. There’s always a part of everyone that’s hidden, that they keep for themselves, I think. Don’t you?’ My Husband’s Killer sees a group of old university friends come together for a weekend get together on the Amalfi Coast. All seven members of this party are ready to relax and unwind over the course of the weekend. But when an awful and unexpected tragedy occurs, one member of this friendship group is left for dead, striking at the heart of this close-knit circle. But secrets come to the surface when it is revealed that the deceased was having an affair. Soon all those that were present on the holiday become a possible suspect. Who is capable of murder and betrayal?

The set-up to this book was very engaging. I wanted to know what was going on in Andrew and Liz’s lives before Andrew’s death. As Laura Marshall begins to reveal what happened, she introduces the rest of her cast, Liz and Andrew’s friends, who were on holiday with them in Italy. There was no one in the group who I particularly warmed to, as I was reading this book. They were all fleshed out well and there were some intense scenes between them, making this book really engaging. I wanted to know more about what was going on in their private lives, and if there was any more to Andrew’s death than what first meets the eye. Liz herself was a likeable enough character, which certainly can't be said for all the rest of the group - one is particularly loathsome. I did feel for her, not only navigating the aftermath of her husband's presumed death but also dealing with revelations which call into question whether he really was the man she always thought him to be. The story focuses on a tight-knit group of friends who’ve known each other since university, and who have headed to Italy to celebrate the birthday of one of their partners. The dynamics between them are all off, primarily because of the break-up of one relationship and the hidden secrets that have been kept. I further plead that my husband be made responsible for our children’s feeding, education and medical care.A wealthy businessman who seems to be controlling and is bank rolling the trip for the group to celebrate his 50th birthday. He also wants everyone to like him and puts up a facade to their faces. What lies beneath his facade? Director Peter Andrikidis' experience in making television is evident in this Australian made-for-TV movie based on a real life crime story, but this isn't a good thing, since it plays like an episode of a police series. Subtlety isn't much in evidence here, and because of this bias, our empathy naturally goes to the guilty person whom we are supposed to want caught. The group - Liz and Andrew, Liz's friends Poppy, Saffie and Trina, the partners of two of them, and the adult daughter of Saffie's new partner Todd - took a while for the distinct personalities to emerge for me, but the story then grabbed me and didn't let go.
