This feature has the ability to be turned on and off for both models. This is important because it is often illegal to use a rangefinder with slope turned during tournament play. Bushnell rangefinders are one of the top brands available and therefore it sells at a premium, but the value gained will override the cost

The Tour V4 combines everything great about a Bushnell rangefinder into one unit. It has PinSeeker Technology with Jolt to eliminate all doubts! With short, bursting pulses, you’ll know you’ve hit the flag, accurate to give or take 1 yard. The ranging accuracy of the Tour V3, Tour V4, and Tour V5 is +/- 1 yard under most circumstances. The maximum range depends on the reflectivity of the target but has improved from 1000 yards on the Tour V3 up to 1300 yards on the Tour V5. The optimum distance for most objects is 700 yards and highly reflective objects it is 1000 yards Open the Bushnell Golf app on your smartphone. 2. Connect the app to your Tour V4 device. 3. Navigate to Settings > Device Settings. 4. Select “Reset Device” option. Always use a fresh, high-quality battery in your Bushnell Tour V4 rangefinder to ensure accurate performance.Bushnell rangefinders are known as argueably the number one golf ranegfinder on the market in terms of quality. Take out the existing battery. This will ensure the rangefinder is completely powered down during the reset process. The ergonomic design makes it comfortable to hold and with a handy carry case to keep it secure when you are not using it, you can see why this rangefinder is rated #1 by professional golfers. In addition to resetting your Bushnell Tour V4 golf rangefinder, there are several maintenance tips you should follow to keep your device in excellent working condition: Do not expose your laser rangefinder to direct sunlight, always store it in the punch it comes with to ensure that no damage is done to it or the battery.

Bushnell has been making top-of-the-line rangefinders for over 25 years, so they have stood the test of time in the golf industry. The Tour V4 was first released in 2016 and it remains one of Bushnell’s best-selling rangefinders, even though the Tour V5 has been out for quite a while. The Slope Edition lets you toggle in and out of Bushnell’s special slope feature, which automatically adjusts its yardage based on the incline or decline of the slope. The optical system comprises a liquid crystal display (LCD) installed within and when it is initiated a reticle will be presented assisting you to choose the target, Unit of Measure, and mode indicators. Moving on to the Tour V4 brought a few enhancements such as the Fast Focus System, Active laser, Golf app, Unit of Measure, and Mode. The clarity of the LCD improved, and the accuracy remained steadfast. The Bushnell Tour V5 is for those golfers that are looking for the best of the best when it comes to performance. When comparing these two models it is safe to say that the Bushnell Tour V5 is the superior product. Due to it’s optics upgrades as well as a few convenience features. For you to be able to take accurate and precise shots, you need to know at what distance the point or flag (hole) is. When the Bushnell Tour V4 starts giving you inconsistent distances it becomes a problem because you don’t know how far or near you should shoot your shot. Avoid Dropping or Impact: Handle your rangefinder with care and avoid dropping it. Even though many rangefinders are built to withstand some level of impact, excessive jolts or drops can damage internal components. Though it is not quite up to the standard of the Bushnell Tour V5 there is a not a huge discreptecy between the two models. Both come from a great ranegfinder manufacturer and are going to give you accurate readings on the course. Water Resistant: This one is a biggie for me because, unlike some other golfers, I like playing in the rain (I know, I’m weird). The Tour V4 is water-resistant so you can use it without fear of damaging it. However, just to be on the safe side, I wouldn’t use it in a complete downpour though, as it’s not waterproof (only water-resistant). Be sure to keep the rangefinder in its premium carrying case when you aren’t using it. Slope calculation technology is available on some specialized models in the Tour V3, Tour V4, and Tour V5 ranges.

Access the device settings menu. 2. Navigate to the System or Reset section. 3. Select the “Reset to Default” or similar option. 4. Confirm the reset operation. One differentiating factor between these two rangefinders is their total range. This is the total range of the rangefinders and not the distance they can measure the pin from.Extremely Long Battery Life: Another critical feature of the Tour V4 is its battery life. I’ve been using this rangefinder for over a year and haven’t needed to replace the battery. It takes a 3-volt lithium cr2 battery, which is easy to find at most shopping outlets. The battery door also easily slides open to make the whole replacement process a breeze. If your Bushnell Tour V4 is still giving inconsistent distances, then it might be time to change the battery as the problem might be an indication that the battery power is getting low. Clean the Lens: Use a microfiber cleaning cloth or a lens cleaning solution designed for optics to clean the rangefinder’s lens regularly. A clean lens ensures accurate distance readings.

The dimensions, speed, and accuracy have changed over the years and new technology included in the Bushnell rangefinders has evolved. The most notable changes throughout the ranges include Stabi-Grip technology, PinSeeker™ technology, JOLT™ which grew into Visual JOLT, changes in the clarity of the view, and BITE Magnetic Mount. Move to an area with better satellite reception. 2. Update the firmware or perform a factory reset. Ergonomically the Tour V3 remained with the original Tour design and fits comfortably into your hand and it is easy to operate.MOD E can be selected when you are using a V4 model with a slope indication. You can either switch it on or off. Slope calculations are not legal in competitions. This, of course, is an advantage for the V5. Though in our opinion total range is not an incredibly important feature for most golfers. Both models are fitted with a pin acquisition range of 400 yards. This is typically more than enough for most golfers. Slope Mode: Being able to calculate the slope of each green is a remarkable advantage for amateur golfers. Thanks to the Tour V4’s ability to tell me the degrees of slope, I can decide the safest approach shot based on the hole layouts. This has helped me lower my handicap considerably.
