Description

Huawei Mobiles always tries to delivers the most advanced and appealing smartphone into the market. However, the Samsung does a slightly better job of appearing to be 'all screen' front-on, because the Huawei's screen does not curve around at the sides. Only the glass does, and just the last millimeter or so at that.

So, is that triple camera setup really necessary? Well, yes, but even after more than two weeks with the handset, I feel I need more time with Huawei’s latest flagship to draw any firm conclusions about its intriguing new camera getup. Following my time with the phone, though, there’s no doubt that it offers an interesting new proposition for the avid smartphone photographer but it does have its weaknesses, too. Rear Camera Features:Leica optics, 3x optical zoom, phase detection and laser autofocus, dual-LED dual-tone flas, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama B1 (2100) , B2 (1900) , B4 (1700/2100 AWS A-F) , B5 (850) , B6 (800) , B8 (900) , B9 (1800 Japan) , B19 (800) , B20 (800) Ensure that the transmission distance doesn't exceed 5mm and your USB-C compatible Huawei P20 Pro is good to go to charge wirelessly through the case. With this, you can link up your Qi receiver and install your case. The best part is that you won't even know it's there! Can you take photos underwater with Huawei P20 Pro? Leica optics, 3x optical zoom, phase detection, Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, Video (2160p@30fps, 1080p, 720p@960fps)Huawei believes that adding another camera to the mix is precisely the thing to get futurists hot under the collar. Equipped with a total of three rear-facing cameras, the Huawei P20 Pro is far from your bog-standard smartphone flagship but is the addition of a third camera really as important as Huawei suggests? Huawei P20 Pro review: What you need to know models depend on the battery spare parts inventory. Should HUAWEI Authorised Service Centres do not

Its display is sized at a humongous 6.1 inches with the presence of 1080 X 2240 pixels resolution. The mobile can be dipped to about 1m in water for 30mins, earning it the IP67 certification. In the software section, the Android 8.1 Oreo OS is on duty although it has the support of Huawei’s EMUI 8.1. One of the interesting features of the UI is the App Twins; this feature allows users to clone apps. Apple’s current iPhones both streets ahead on this front, allowing owners to shoot 4K at a smooth 60fps fully stabilised. Huawei P20 Pro review: Verdict

Popular in Smartphones

With aluminium alloy being used as its body material, Huawei P20 Pro looks like a darling. Added to this, the triple camera setup at the rear makes it more attractive. Its fore bears the AMOLED glass that’s stretched to the limit of 18.7:9 aspect ratio. Also sporting the bezel-less display & top notch, the smartphone has its fingerprint scanner placed beautifully at its bottom bezel.

Sensors: Front-mounted fingerprint sensor, gyro, compass, accelerometer, proximity, colour, spectrum The Huawei P20 Pro houses a 4000-mAh battery which can last you up to two days with general usage. While you’ll get less time out of the phone if you do gaming, music, or video streaming, you will still get enough battery life at the end of the day. Performance-wise, the phone’s Kirin 970 chip and 6-GB of RAM can deliver exceptional performance when gaming and browsing, making it one of the best phones for multimedia usage. Steps to Show All Hidden Apps on Huawei P20 Pro There is an underwater mode that is designed to allow users to take pictures while immersed in water. There are two shortcuts that are available which will make taking pictures and videos underwater easier. As far as zoom goes, the 8MP camera enables you to zoom to 3x optically at the press of a virtual button, and 5x with another press. Both zoom results are satisfactory given that the details delivered are crisp. Other parts of the phone are a little more conventional. We get the Kirin 970 CPU used in the Huawei Mate 10, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Note that the Mate 20 Pro has since appeared boasting the Kirin 980 CPU.Rear Camera: 40 MP f/1.8 (wide), PDAF, Laser AF, OIS + 8 MP f/2.4 (telephoto), PDAF, OIS, 3x optical zoom + 20 MP B/W f/1.6 (wide) There are software improvements to the camera as well, including “AI” image stabilisation, which allows you to shoot four-second long exposure images with little handshake or blur. It’s a technique that works surprisingly well, with the phone capturing detail-rich images in low-light, without too much visual noise. Since the smartphone is water-resistant to IP67, that means the Huawei P20 Pro can withstand submersion in one meter of freshwater for up to 30 minutes.
