This raises questions of how to understand Rev 4-20. At the moment I tend to see John (or Jesus) as pulling together biblical prophecy into one final revelation. In his first advent the End had begun and since it has begun it cannot be long until it is completed. Ch 4-20 are the elements that have yet to play out as the Lamb brings history to a conclusion. There will not be any unprecedented global catastrophes or unparalleled calamities that will point people to the return of Jesus. Rather, people will be immersed in the routine affairs of life. It will be like the days of Noah. The world will be completely off-guard by the coming of Jesus… In Genesis 18:18 God gave Abraham, the father of the Jewish people, the promise of a son—and descendants. He said, “Abraham, through your son all the nations of the world are going to be blessed” ( Genesis 12:3, 22:18). When Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was 90, God gave them a miracle child. Every Jew alive today is the direct result of a miracle birth. Therefore, our precious Jewish friends should have no difficulty believing in the virgin birth because every one of them is here because of a miracle birth. That's the miracle of the generation of the Jewish people. Thank you. I accept that that was not your intent; but I hope you understand that given that Israel has, baselessly, been accused of genocide and such other slanders, it needlessly muddies the waters to use as your example a state which (almost certainly) is guilty of genocide; especially if, as you claim, there are many other examples you could have used.

Ever since The American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) – a major lobbying group advocating pro-Israeli policies – realigned itself with Christian conservatives in the 1980s, Christian Zionists have been among the most vociferous critics of the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement and today they are unconditional partisans for Israeli statehood at government level.

The Great White Throne Judgment

Is not the church the body of Christ, the bride of Christ (together with Jewish believers) in union with him, the *called -out* ones with the remnant of Jewish believers, or as the reformed of old would say *old testament saints* who looked forward to the Promised One. We see in the rear view mirror, even as we look ahead to the consumation. In my view the Yinon Plan has been a cornerstone of the Zionist agenda for the Arab world. Besides an aggressive assertion of sovereignty it aims to prevent the emergence and mobilisation of any grassroots mass movement on Arab soil which may potentially thwart Zionist designs for the region. This booklet will be of interest to anyone trying to make sense of the current situation, and wanting to relate it to Scripture in any way. The claim that Ezekiel prophesied the existence of the modern State of Israel is made by many, and this booklet is an essential tool in assessing whether than claim is valid. And we, the Americans, don’t want to be the next Empire or the next great power to fall because we didn’t sufficiently bless the Jewish people.’”

Although I agree that promise finds fulfilment and certainty in Christ I don’t think this means we must look for its fulfilment always in the first advent. Clearly there are promises in the OT that wait for a future fulfilment. For example Isaiah’s promise of a new heavens and new earth. Others are perhaps partially fulfilled presently yet await complete fulfilment in the future. Salvation is a example here. Reformed theologians believe something decisive happened in Christ. His covenant affected not simply the covenant of Moses, making a new and timeless form of salvation, but also every other Jewish covenant, including Abraham’s covenant. Christ fulfills the expectations of Jewish covenant life and renews the people of God rooted in the Old Testament and Judaism. Thus, Jesus is the new temple, the new Israel. Soon an “Evangelical statement in support of Israel” was issued by the ethics and religion liberty commission – an arm of the Southern Baptist Convention, a denomination which has 45,000 churches in the US.The word “Jew” and its modern meaning did not even come into existence until the 17th Century when the letter “J” was first invented. And at the time the word “Jew” was first put into the Bible (in the 2nd draft copy of the KJV Bible in the 18th Century…. the 1st edition of the KJV Bible in 1611 used the word IEWE to describe Judahite Hebrews – not “Jews”) it was to be understood in one context only – the word “Jew” was an abbreviation for Judean. As we look at Israel, I want you to see four miracle prophecies about this land. The Prophecy of Israel’s Miraculous Generation (How Israel Came to Be a Nation) If you say you are a “Jew” today…. you are also saying you’re 85-90% Ashkenazi Eastern European from one of several countries in Eastern Europe who have mostly Khazarian ancestors. So modern so called “Jewish” people have absolutely no connection whatsoever because they are not even remotely a Semitic people and HAVE NO CONNECTION AT ALL (through Ancestry or by religion) to Abraham and the 12 tribes of Hebrew Israelites. And modern so called Israel has absolutely no connection to ancient Biblical Israel. How DARE THEY even call it today “Israel”. It is an ABOMINATION. Still, some might ask if emphasizing the centrality of Christ’s covenant leads to the dismissal of Judaism and its covenants. Would this lead to anti-Judaism in the church?

While there are plenty of evangelicals who, like Hagee, adhere to the Israel-is-key-to-Jesus’-return theology, there are also those who believe in “blessings theology”, a less outlandish, more transactional approach to support for Israel. After decades of wars, civil strife and uprisings, the Middle East is arriving at arguably the most dangerous inflection point in its recent history. Some Christians, to be sure, are pacifists who believe any military action to be wrong. Most Christians throughout church history, however, have held to some form of just war theory, which holds that war is always awful, but—under certain, very limited circumstances—can be morally justified.

Again 85-90% of ALL modern so called “Jewish” people are Ashkenazi Eastern Europeans – they are not even remotely a Semitic people. There is nothing wrong with being Ashkenazi in and of itself (I myself am supposedly Ashkenazi on both sides of my family) but there IS something VERY WRONG with CLAIMING to be Hebrew Israelites and have a special covenant with the true and living God when you are not even remotely related to Hebrews Israelites. Furthermore ALL Hebrew Israelites were utterly destroyed in A.D. 70 by the Roman army and their temple taken down “stone by stone” just as our Lord Yahusha said it would! This was His most powerful prophecy that came to pass only 40 years after He proclaimed it! This was the gospel that was preached for at least 500 years after our Lord Yahusha rose from the dead and Victoriously conquered SIN and DEATH and the Devil – (i.e. Lucifer who had become Satan!). It is HE – our Lord Yahusha who overcame this Synagogue of Satan and identifies them in Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 as “those who SAY they are “Jews” (actual original translation is “Judeans” or the tribe of “Judahite Hebrews” who rejected the Messiah) as being of the Synagogue of Satan. And THAT is who had these FAKE translations and confusing translations put into modern Bibles that has caused so much confusion and LIES to be perpetrated against the true body of Christ and the rest of the world! This TOTAL LIE that “Jewish” people are the ancestors of Abraham and the Hebrew Israelites is one the most egregious evil lies in the history of the world. No. Christ and his church are deeply rooted in Judaism. As Gentiles, we are grafted into the Jewish tree of Abraham (Rom. 11:13-24). Jesus was Jewish, and it is through the Hebrew covenants that we understand our own covenant.
