B-Movie Orchestra + Interview with Ruud Bos - in this program, composer Ruud Bos, who scored Naked Over the Fence and The Burglar, performs original film music with B-Movie Orchestra and discusses his career. In Dutch, with optional English subtitles (12 min). Based on a comedic thriller by author Rinus Ferdinandusse (who co-wrote the screenplay wiht Rob du Mee and who has a small role in the film), Naked Over The Fence benefits from a really strong score from composer Ruud Bos. This adds quite a bit to the film's attempts at humor and suspense and brings the production values up a fair bit. The movie is also nicely shot, using the Amsterdam locations quite well, particularly in the finale when we're treated to an unexpected but fairly effective tram chase. If you haven’t ever experienced the whiplash insanity of ‘70s Dutch cinema, a pretty good place to start would be 1973’s Naked over the Fence.” – Mondo Digital

Rounding out the extras is a gallery of promotional images, a Sylvia Kristel film trailer section (containing trailers for Naked Over The Fence, Frank & Eva, Julia, Pastorale 1943, Mysteries and Playing With Fire), menus and chapter selection options. Presented in an aspect ratio of 1.37:1 encoded with MPEG-4 AVC and granted a 1080p transfer, Naked Over the Fence arrives on Blu-ray courtesy of Cult Epics. I’ve been fortunate enough to review several films now starring sexploitation icon Sylvia Kristel who many may know from her iconic role as Emmanuelle and its sequels. Many of those films were released by Cult Epics on blu in a solid box set. The set was a lot of fun with most of them being damn good films that really surprised me.

Promotional Gallery - a collection of promotional materials for Naked Over the Fence. Presented with music (2 min). Behind the Scenes with Sylvia Kristel - during the shooting of Naked Over the Fence, producer Rob de Mee hired a crew to document the process on 16mm film, resulting in two hours of raw footage, never edited, including these fifteen minutes of content with Sylvia Kristel rehearsing her music scene. (15 min). Cult Epics is proud to present Madame Claude in a stunning brand new 4k transfer, supervised by Oscar nominated cinematographer Robert Fraisse, fully loaded with a plethora of new bonus features."Except it isn’t. Penny befriends a sexy chanteuse named Lilly Marischka (a pre-Emmanuelle Sylvia Kristel, looking weirdly cute with her short, dyed blonde hair), who winds up getting involved with a mutual friend named Ed Swaan (Jon Bluming), a karate teacher. Ed gets hired to act in an ‘art film’ and brings Lilly, who he is involved with, along for the ride. Of course, neither one of them really realizes what sort of ‘art film’ they’re to be performing in and they soon find themselves tangled up in the Dutch porno movie scene. Naakt Over De Schutting (Naked Over The Fence), the 1973 movie featuring Dutch actors Rijk de Gooyer, Jon Bluming, Sylvia Kristel and Ko van Dijk, was loosely based on a book written by Rinus Ferdinandusse. Described as a “sriller” (sarcastic thriller) this obscure B-movie was directed by Frans Weisz. It features a silly plot, a comic karate fight and a not-so spectacular tram chase all the way to Artis Zoo, Amsterdam. Coming just before Kristel would achieve worldwide fame as Emmanuelle – and subsequently retitled in some territories to cash in on that recognition, with one such title translating as “Emmanuelle Jumped Over the Fence.” – DVDcompare Featuring “Get It Now”, “Model Session”, “Naked Plus”, the single “Hey A Letter Came Today” by Dutch model and actress Sylvia Kristel (Emmanuelle) a.o. Cult Epics has released Naked Over the Fence on Blu-ray continuing its line of Sylvia Kristel films in HD; here the film gets a new 4K transfer and restoration from the original camera negative. Overall, the film appears crisp and clear with just a smattering of damage and burns here and there. In comparison to other Kristel films and Dutch classics Cult Epics has released, this looks quite similar; there’s a tendency for some blown-out highlights in the film itself, but it features relatively good detail and a minimal grain presence. Colors tend to hue yellow, and occasionally there is a noticeable alteration in the grading in a few particular shots; also of note is some poor delineation in some of the few darker scenes the film has. Other than that, video quality is strong and quite consistent with other releases of the same ilk.
