Rafe & Penny’s story continues in Sinners Consumed, which will be out September 7. Guess what, the heroine is bad if not worse than the girls she hates…for the same reasons she hates them for, going for the same guy. ) Penny is literally such an ICON!!! The way she literally slept with him one night, only to make him grovel the next day… WHAT A QUEEN!!! And the way she really made him beg for her forgiveness was EVERYTHING!! She was literally walking him like a dog! Bro was on his knees for her!! It was just so epic and so freaking entertaining!!

He cooked breakfast for her, massaged her for hours, learned how to make a braid because she doesn't know how to, started drinking vodka instead of his favorite whiskey because she doesn't like the taste of whiskey, randomly called her cutie, adorable, and lastly, whenever she asked him the reason for doing all of this, he simply told her, "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" 😭💕 Like… them not kissing until the 70ish% mark of the SECOND book was just everything!!! And the kiss was just so freaking AMAZING!!! He literally kissed her in the rain because that was the only way she wanted it to happen!!! I’m on my freaking knees!!

I thought Rafe had already won me over but man did I fall in love with him even harder when he built an IKEA bookcase from scratch and bought an entire collection of For Dummies books because he knew Penny read them. What a man. I see Raphael’s irritated gaze fall to the small puddle I’ve created. “These seats are Nappa leather.”

I absolutely love Penny's character development in the second part of their story. Despite having a tough exterior but she is still wounded on the inside but she would not allow anyone to ever walk all over her even the man she is falling for. The banter between Penny and Rafael was so swoony and I laughed so hard at times, the spice is chef's kiss and I adore the fact that it's was kind of slow-burn. SO GOOD. I haven't read a mafia series that I liked in a while, but this has just became an all time favorite. Rafe and Penny are everything. If you like The Made Men Series by Danielle Lori, you'll love this. Honestly, it was even better and that's a bold statement since I LOVE The Made Men. If you didn't enjoy book 1, you'll enjoy this one much more. Before bedtime: Many people find that reading before bedtime helps them unwind and relax, which can promote better sleep.Somme Sketcher has done a fantastic job creating a dark mafia romance story that will make you fall in love with the characters, writing style, the universe, the plot, and everything. The main characters are perfect in every sense possible. Angelo is the perfect bad boy that every woman would fall in love with. He first falls in love with Rory and literary loves every aspect of hers. He makes all her insecurities because her ex-boyfriend forgot every moment she was with him. The two literary fell in love with each other without even kissing or even doing the deed is something you will rarely find in most romance books. The scene where she's giving him a stripper lapdance just to spite him and she asks for him to pay up and he stuffs his card in her mouth and tells her to take off her bra is so superior you have no idea. And the way these two broke every rule they had about love and relationships, for each other… ugh.. I DIED DEAD!!!

For a better reading experience, please read Sinners Anonymous before reading Sinners Condemned & Sinners Consumed. I love the Visconti family dynamic and I hope I'll get to read more of the other brothers' stories. I have to say I love every scene Angelo and Rory (main couple of book 1) make an appearance in because it's so satisfying to see Angelo being an absolute simp for his wife. In this book, the steamy bits are ON AND RUNNING. The sexual tension in book 1 in the duet was insane like the way they didn't kiss once and also didn't have sex once, but you got a lap dance, fingering under the table, dry humping, you know... normal stuff. But you didn't get any actual act. UNTIL THIS ONE. Oh, Somme wanted to start with a bang and she did. This book is so steamy and wow they really had the best chemistry ever. But you also can see them fall in love and it's so adorable. Rafe building a bookshelf for Penny and filling it up with For Dummies books just because she wants to find something she's good at and do it for the rest of her life. He cooks for her and kisses her forehead every single time. He takes her to get burgers at like 12 am and sleeps in his car because she cannot sleep alone.
