Use this feature if you wish to transfer the entire island and all residents to a new Nintendo Switch console. The island, all progress and customisations, your animal neighbours, the island's Resident Representative and any other residents that have been created on the island will be transferred. When the transfer is complete, a message will appear on both consoles. The save data has now been deleted from the source console and is present on the target console. Make sure that Animal Crossing: New Horizons is updated to the latest software version on both consoles.This feature is helpful when just one player wants to continue playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons on a new Nintendo Switch console or when multiple residents other than the Resident Representative will be using the new Nintendo Switch console. The transferred player(s) will move to a new island with new animals, so any island progress and animal neighbours will remain on the original Nintendo Switch console. Repeat this step for each user account. If you are transferring all user accounts, a default account named “User” will remain on the source console. When prompted, select the resident name for the user account. The actual “Switch” itself, is the screen on which games can be played. It measures 6.2 inches and could be a little bigger, but is a healthy weight - not too much, not too little. This screen has a resolution of 720 p (so not 900 or 1080 p or "full" HD), but that's not really so much of an issue when what is being delivered instead is near-flawless framerate and resulting gameplay.
