The Nebulan warriors explained their situation with the Hive to the Autobots, and why they didn't trust them at first, and came to an agreement. Using Brainstorm's idea, they would use their and Daniel's minds with the Autobots' bodies to be powerful enough to defeat the Hive and save the others. Thus were born the Headmasters. The Rebirth, Part 1 Pointblank questioned Fortress Maximus's ideas of war when he refused to sacrifice Wheelie to keep the Master Sword's secret out of Decepticon hands. Under Prowl's command again, he complimented Javelin's return to action after her injury and stood ready with the rest of his team to provide cover fire for anyone escaping the Senate building. After Clench turned a rail gun on the Autobots, Sideswipe moved in to rescue Bumper, who had been shot. Sideswipe took heavy damage carrying the wounded Bumper out of the line of fire. Peacemaker and fellow Nebulans were getting a guided tour of the Nursery from head botanist Selani when Scorponok arrived with the Terrorcons in tow. The six Nebulans transformed to their new weapon forms, and the Autobot Targetmasters unleashed their new firepower.
