These movies look absolutely stunning on blu-ray. Watching them on a widescreen TV in high-definition is truly the way these movies were meant to be seen. The images are razor sharp and the sound on these discs are crystal clear. When Jedi apprentice Anakin Skywalker is assigned to protect Senator Padmé Amidala, he discovers his love for her…and his own darker side. Obi-Wan Kenobi uncovers a secret clone army as the galaxy marches towards full-scale war. This is the second installment of the prequels set in a time period prior to that of the original three star war films.While this is the definitive Star Wars box set (at least for now), there are a few minor disappointments. I for one, would have liked to have seen included the original theatrical releases for episodes IV-VI without the copious CGI elements. Even though there are lots of extra features on this box set, I would have liked material that had been previously released on DVD to have been included on this set, such as the hour long making of featurette originally released on The Phantom Menace DVD. As such, these omissions prevent this from feeling like a truly complete set, but certainly the best we've seen so far. Released: 20th April 2020.
