Description

Once the truffles are rolled into balls, pop in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. This is so that they don't fall apart in the melted chocolate. 🥰 Malteser Chocolate Balls Start by crushing the vanilla biscuits into a fine crumb. Then add the Maltesers to the food processor and blitz till roughly chopped up. Everything you need to make the recipe is shown in the photo below. For exact measurements and detailed instructions please refer to the printable recipe card below. Ingredients for the recipe

Milk chocolate: this is what we use to coat the truffles in. As you can see from the photos, I use a chocolate layer with chocolate drizzled over the top. Much like the Teasers bars, mini malty balls add the signature Malteser flavour and crunch to their truffles. The smoothest member of the family, Maltesers Truffles are perfect for gifting and sharing with loved ones. For the biggest fans, there’s also the Large Gift Box. Because y’know, you can never have too many truffles… Lindt milk chocolate is typically regarded as one of the more higher-calorie luxury milk chocolate brands, but they do have some low syn weight loss goodies to offer. We all know what Maltesers are, don’t we? The light and delicious treats have been with us since 1937 and have gone on to become one of the most beloved members of the Mars family. The crunchy malted treats are in a league of their own and have are a something we all feel for every once in a while!Microwave the milk chocolate in a heatproof jug and use a fork to dip each truffle (one by one) into the chocolate. Hold the fork above the bowl, then move to the tray and use a skewer to get the ball off the fork. You can also tip the fork to get them off, however, you will see indents from where the fork was holding the truffle. A skewer at the base of the fork pushing the truffle off onto the baking paper will ensure smooth chocolate covered balls. Sugar free sweets are always low in syns since they are sweetened with sweetener rather than sugar. Note 3 - Technique: Microwave the milk chocolate in a heatproof jug and use a fork to dip each truffle (one by one) into the chocolate.

Another popular low syn milk chocolate is curly wurlys! This milk chocolate only has 5 syns per bar, making them an excellent low syn milk chocolate sweet treat. With their button shape and a range of flavours, the Maltesers Buttons brought something new to the line-up. The chocolate shapes are available in the classic Milk Chocolate flavour, as well as Dark Chocolate and Orange Chocolate flavours. Each given that signature malty crunchiness thanks to tiny bubbles throughout each and every button. Haribos are a popular sweet with some great low syn options, their giant strawbs in particular are an excellent low syn sweet choice having just one syn per strawb, meaning you could have up to 15 of these sweets before using up your daily syn allowance. Maltesersare a favourite brand of milk chocolate for many of us, coming in button forms, bunny forms and as a standard milk chocolate bar with varying syns. The wafer inside of Kit Kat'smakes their syns low but keeps their volume the same, you eat up to three bars of this milk chocolate a day before using up your whole daily syn allowance.

Ferrero Rochersare a luxury milk chocolate, but that doesn't mean you can't have the chocolate as a low syn treats occasionally on the slimming world plan. Vanilla Biscuits: I use plain vanilla biscuits, Marie or Maria work well. Malt biscuits are fine too. We use these to create a crumb which we sprinkle on top of the truffles to decorate. Rowntree's fruit pastillesmake a great low syn sweet treat, having only 0.5 syns in per sweet, you could have up to 30 of them before using up your total daily syn allowance! We would recommend eating these candies in moderation however because of their artificial flavourings and sweeteners which could potentially cause digestive issues when eaten in excess. For white chocolate buttons, we're talking about 4-5 syns a bag which is also low syns, if you choose giant milk chocolate buttons the syns can move up to around 7 syns a serving. The same goes for sugar chewing gum which is synned at 0.5 syns for five pieces. We do not suggest eating mints and chewing gum in excess however since it can have negative health side effects. One of the defining features of Maltesers is not only that they’re as moreish as anything can be, but that they’re so delightfully round. It’s a simple touch, but a thoroughly enjoyable one! The process of how they end up so round is a totally mesmerising one, too. Well, the malty centres are cooked in little balls which are then coated in chocolate using a technique called ‘panning’. This involves the centres being tumbled constantly in a pan as melted chocolate is added to coat them. Both the speed and the amount of chocolate has to be carefully monitored to make sure the Maltesers come out just the way we like them.

I use a mini cookie scoop to portion the mixture from the bowl onto the baking tray. Then I use clean hands to roll these portions into balls. As long as you consume fruit pastilles in moderation within your daily syn allowance they will not affect your weight loss goals. You could eat up to three curly wurly before getting close to your syn allowance, for weight watchers, we would suggest eating them in moderation due to their high fat and sugar content. Kit Kat's You could even make your own Haribo like sweets with some sugar-free jelly sachets, gelatine and yoghurt. Celebrations bring together a selection of the most popular chocolates – and it’s no surprise that there’s a Maltesers representative in there. After many years of being only in the Celebrations, the Maltesers Teasers launched a solo career. It’s been a while since the chocolate laced with mini malty bits has been available in bigger forms, but it’s still just as exciting! The Maltesers Teasers Chocolate Bars offer the same thrill as the smaller versions found in Celebrations – in a welcome bigger portion!

Next add the sweetened condensed milk to the crushed Malteser's and use a spoon to combine. Step by Step Instructions 5 to 8 Maltesers: these are malt covered chocolate balls available in the sweets section of the supermarket. There are a wide variety of milk, dark and white chocolate Malteser's. I am using regular milk chocolate ones. In other countries, there is a similar product called whoppers.
