Instinct told me, "You absolutely must have him!". The head said: "Is that really what makes Acqua di Gio special?". I present you a fragrance from the house of Giorgio Armani, which has done it to me smell-technically very much at first. The Acqua di Giò Absolu Instinct by Giorgio Armani is a striking scent for men, skillfully crafted with a powerful, yet subtle symphony of fragrances. This perfume welcomes you initially with the fresh and tangy aroma of Italian citrus fruits that instantly connects to the crisp and refreshing scent of marine notes, truly capturing the essence of a seaside morning. It’s mostly at the beginning that they smell alike and this Armani fragrance is much better in my opinion. Aqua can have this stinky dry down of the sea notes, but the Armani doesn’t. I am not surprised by the better rating compared to the predecessor Absolu. Nevertheless, I consider the predecessor to be too badly rated. But the tastes are very subjective, especially for perfumes!

In the middle, Acqua di Gio Absolu has a solid presence of labdanum that gives a sweet aroma as well as increases the effect of the woody aspect. Lavender works from behind by making the cologne calm and collected. Invictus Aqua (2018) is full of fresh aquatic notes that work brilliantly in summer and spring. You can wear it in the office, gym or casually. It lasts for 8 to 9 hours which is great. And, the projection is also remarkable. It performs heavily for the first 2 hours then becomes a skin scent. The bottle of Invictus Aqua (2018) has the same design as its original fragrance. Only the juice color has an aquatic color.

Longevity is also quite good, but not amazing. 8 or so hours is what I get out of it on my skin, it can go a bit longer, depending on the climate that day. Update: Testing it out further, it can go up to 9, but that’s rare. Expect 7-8. Hello folks, here I am again and describe the newest fragrance of a actually beautiful fragrance series, of which I was disappointed by last year's Flanker and could not believe what Armani had brought out. We are talking about the Acqua di Giò series, which in itself is very beautiful, but with the fragrance Acqua di Giò Absolu had reached the absolute (ho ho wordplay! :D) low point, at least in my opinion. So that was the new Armani Acqua di Giò fragrance. I'm still not really enthusiastic, but compared to last year the fragrance is not a complete disaster this time, but despite all my criticism it's still okay and therefore usable. Brrr,... if I still think of the predecessor... the Absolu I found really terrible. You know what, man? In Lidl there is currently (because of spring and so on), once again perfumed toilet paper. You man, that's just shit paper to wipe your ass, and even that smells a thousand times better than the last Acqua di Giò scent, that can't be true... :D This cologne can make anyone calm and comfortable. You can pull it off effortlessly. It is the fragrance you grab when you do not know what to wear as it is easygoing. Acqua di Giò Absolu is a sweetish / fresh fragrance which conveys seriousness and well-being. The smoky / woody notes paired with the fruity / fresh result in my opinion a great creation. It has a bit of an idyllic sauna visit in a wooden cabin, in the middle of a snowy forest. However, very restrained and not so intense.

It’s closest comparisons are that Invictus, Profondo, the original AdG, and I guess Absolu Instinct (but I haven’t tried that out). The fragrance opens with a bright zesty punch of Italian fruits, effortlessly combined with marine notes for a fresh, oceanic hint. A spicy undercurrent runs through the heart of the scent, lending a hint of intrigue and depth. From the first spritz to the dry-down, it maintains a consistent narrative, moving smoothly from the opening citrus notes to the earthy base of ebony, creating a journey that is both engaging and enduring. While this smells nice, it's still too expensive, and doesn't last long. It projects ok for an hour, and then stays pretty close, but I wouldn't call it a skin scent until hour 4, by which point, I don't smell it at all. It's one of those "here and gone" performers, because one minute, I smell it in the air, the next, I smell nothing. To clarify.. not that it's legitimately here and gone, time wise, but here and gone performance wise. A real all-rounder. This perfume is suitable for school as well as for all work areas. It is neither intrusive, nor does it give other people a headache. For's office 2-3 sprays are enough. Should you stay in the open, also like one more.Whether I recommend a test, well... you have to know that for yourself. Actually, I would rather say no and prefer to reach for Essenza or Profumo instead. But on the other hand some of you might like this one a lot, so, yes test :D
