If you are upgrading your water system from gravity fed storage tanks to a mains fed system such as a Combination Boiler, a power shower is no longer suitable. The Triton AS200SR Silent Running Thermostatic Power Shower (TAS2000SR) is a genuine, brand new Triton product, covered by a Triton manufacturer's guarantee. But this Triton shower is more than just a pretty face. It also comes with some great features that make it a perfect replacement for your existing power shower. For instance, it has multiple cable and water entry points, including the Triton Swivel-Fit water inlet, enabling top, rear or bottom entry for easy installation. It also features an adjustable maximum temperature stop which is especially handy if you have little ones in the house who might accidentally turn the temperature up too high. Amazingly quiet for a power shower (the plumber didn't think it was working). Shower unit was easy replacement to fit. Only downside was regarding the risers which are not of a standard size with older Triton models and therefore require more holes to drill in tiles.

The ability to rotate the incoming water connection unit is well thought out as is the safety feature for disabling the pump to purge any air out when first starting up, had to remember though to deactivate the micro switch otherwise the pump will remain off, all in all well recommended.Was very surprised with this shower, lots of pressure very quiet, I got exactly what I expected when purchasing it. Consists of: Thermostatic power shower, rub-clean 5-mode showerhead, 1.25m anti-twist hose, riser rail If I have one criticism of the SR model, it is the design of the control knobs. Triton have gone for a more minimalist design. so the knobs are flat with smooth edges. With wet hands, changing the flow or temperature can be a challenge as you cannot always get a good grip on them. I decide to replace it with the AS2000SR because it was a retrofit model and wouldn't involve a lot of destructive plumbing work and I have to say that the results have been mind-blowing.

To sum up, if you're in need of a replacement power shower at a very reasonable price I don't think you can go wrong with this unit and the speed of service from Plumbworld is excellent.

only just installed so hard to tell but looks good nice powerful flow our last electric was a triton i80 which believe it or not was over25 years old and still going it was only low water pressure made me change it will this last 25 years + if it does I will let you know I will be 96 then so I hope I can Easy swap, probably took me a half-hour (though I did use to install showers long ago) - main point is that it's a direct replacement, you will need to drill new mounting holes, but pipe and cable entries the same. If you are thinking of increasing the kW rating of your shower the installation will need to be inspected by a Part P registered Electrician and your shower circuit may need upgrading, as necessary. I’ve been using previous model for many years and the temp control started playing up. Decided to still using Triton brand which is now this model AS2000SR. To replace it took me about 90mins. I was following Triton’s instructions and video. It was quite simple and straight forward. Due to be a bit different shape new holes had to be drilled - I recommend to use Bosch Expert drill to make new holes in tiles. New power shower is silent and to compare to old version is a massive difference. I really recommend this shower unit… my tenant is very happy I bought this to replace the previous Triton shower which was 8 years old. This one is quieter, more powerful and cheaper than the older version. I'm delighted with it. My only negative comment is that the fixing holes don't line up with my older model.No big deal the footprint is identical and the bar/shower head holder uses exactly the same fittings. Excellent!
