Description

This wireless microphone system combines TWS earbuds with a Cyberpunk 2077 sort of feel, especially with the contrast yellow on the interior of the charging case. The Hollyland logo and wordings on the product also gives it a nice touch, making it look more edgy. Another thing that must be mentioned is that even though it is a budget product, the Lark M1 comes with Adaptive Frequency Hopping technology. This is the same as on the Lark 150. This M1 Duo version I am reviewing is designed for scenarios where two people are in the frame, and a dual-channel setup is used to record the audio. The built-in clip system makes them easy to attach to a piece of clothing. The system works with proper cameras and smartphones (both Android and iPhones). The LarkM1’s transmitter can broadcast a clear clean signal from a distance without drop out (as you’ll see/hear from our supporting video). (Image credit: George Cairns / Digital Camera World)

There are not too many functional controls on the transmitters. You have the noise-cancellation on/off button, which you can use to turn on or off the function. If the light is glowing blue, that means noise-cancellation is off. If it’s turned green, then noise-cancellation is active. I feel that for a majority of run-and-gun style work like press interviews, a rough and ready vlog, or something like a travelogue, the Lark M1 is more than a decent performer. Battery life and charging Ultra Lightweight and Compact. Lark M1 lapel microphone weighs only 0.42oz, a size smaller than a USB flash drive. You can’t even feel it when clipped on your shirt. The receiver is 0.62oz, and the charging case is 2.82oz. All the units can be stored in the case while still lightweight and compact. The ergonomic curved edge design and matte UV-painted surface make it look fashionable and comfortable to wear. On the side of the receiver, you will get two buttons. One works as your volume up and manual pairing button. The other one works as a mode switch and volume down button. There is also a power button you can use to power down or power up the receiver manually if you want to. Vloggers and interviewees who are searching for a no-fuss audio solution will find the Hollyland Lark M1 clip on microphone wireless pair kit to be an ideal all-in-one answer to their audio needs. What about walls and obstructions? Well, that did have a bearing on the range of the device. In my experience, even a small body standing between the receiver and the transmitters and therefore obstructing the “clear line of sight,” the range of the system dropped significantly.

Hay varias cosas que me gustaron de estos microfonos, primero que son de Hollyland, una marca cuyos productos he utilizado y se que son buenos, pero lo mas importante para mi de estos microfonos diria que es lo conveniente que son. To control the audio levels in real-time, you’ve to use the 3.5mm audio out of your camera to plug in a headphone and monitor the audio levels in real-time. Setup and use One thing I noticed about the receiver is that there is no audio-out option. That means you cannot listen to the audio in real-time. The M1 wireless lavalier microphone has an acoustic performance that is maximized by a sleek metal mesh textured skin, making it easy to wear thanks to its curved edge ergonomics and matte UV-painted surface. Additionally, with the built-in noise cancellation function, the Lark M1 is perfect for recordings even in the most demanding environment. Long Transmission Distance. Lark M1 wireless microphone can transmit video signal up to 656ft line-of-sight in open space with no obstacles. Even when there are obstacles between the transmitter and receiver, like when you turn around, it can still transmit a stable signal up to 130ft. M1 mic is widely compatible with iPhone, iPad, Android Phones, cameras, laptops, tablets, and computers. Yes, the Lark M1 is a lightweight and easy-to-use product. If you’re looking for an entry-level wireless mic solution that’s cross-platform compatible, works with a number of devices, and offers the option to use a stereo mode, then the Lark M1 will no doubt surprise you with the spec list. The price point at which it’s sold is a major USP. There are not too many options at the same price point, which should make this product an attractive proposition for beginners and those on a budget. Once all set up and ready to go, I found the Hollyland Lark M1 to be a mix of pros and cons when recording. It’s capable of 48KHz and 16-bit audio over a 2.4GHz frequency with an advertised range of 200m (656ft). That claim is accurate if you have a perfect line between the mics and the receiver. If there’s any sort of interference, and you need to be quite a bit closer. That said, I still managed to get good quality without any recording loss from about 200ft away which, in all honesty, is plenty of distance for most users.

The transmitter has a few buttons at most. There is a button for turning the device on and another one for pairing or noise cancellation. Even the receiver has also just a power button, a pairing/volume up button with settings for low, middle, and high, and a volume down/mode switch button between stereo and mono sound.

A single blue or green solid light on the transmitters shows that the unit is connected to the receiver; if this light is flashing, it means it hasn’t connected. Through the test, the auto connection process worked every time, so there was no need for a manual pairing, but the process is relatively straightforward if it does need to be done. If you’re looking for a reliable system for shooting with smartphones, I recommend that you look at the Lark C1. This is designed to work as a plug-and-play system and comes in dedicated Android and iOS versions (for iPads and iPhones). Note 10, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Redmi Note 8T, Redmi Note 8, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Redmi 10X 4G, Plus, the transmitters are incredibly lightweight, so the wearer is never conscious of the weight. This is something extremely useful in a real-life situation. Overall I love how the system powers on and is ready to use as soon as you’re. Build quality and design
