Some scenes are virtually identical, others are improved. In some scenes you really had to look hard to detect any difference, others it was much more noteworthy and easy to spot. The TLDR version is yes, this is a better transfer, but in minute ways you may not instantly appreciate at first glance. Popping all of these films into one set was a very smart move on Scream Factory’s part. Few would prefer to buy them separately, but they also a paint a picture of a particularly chaotic era for the Halloween franchise. If you’re a fan of the series or these films, this a very nice 4K upgrade. It’s hard to recommend, but even casual fans will get something out of it.
