Has it changed my life? Absolutely. Few books have had an impact on me like this has. I’ve developed a “definiteness of purpose” mindset thanks to this book. Definiteness of purpose : Hill emphasizes the importance of having a clear, defined goal in life. By developing a sense of purpose, individuals can combat the Devil's attempts to keep them drifting and directionless. Later in the book, Hill explains how drifting eventually turns into a “hypnotic rhythm,” which keeps people busy with trivialities, and over time, drifting becomes permanent. I have let too many anonymous people from various internet forums turn me into a serious debbie downer. This book really fixed my mood and character. So grateful to come across this book. Really helped me out a lot to change my mood and habits.

Kids should make a decision fast and then not change it easily. (As if a kid's first inclination is the best! Yikes!) It is strange that this book has appeared now, in a time of another great depression and new financial crisis, a time when millions of persons are struggling to survive financially and otherwise. From the other of "Think and Grow rich" here is a new masterpiece. What did Napolean Hill believe spiritually about the Devil? Was this some sort of imagination event or did Napolean really encounter at some level "The Devil"? While this book isn't really a religious book, there are some religious overtunes here.Life is of our own making. Fill it with good- learning, accumulate wisdom through learning from experience. Don't be a victim drifting through life. Harmony (acting with definiteness of purpose to become the dominating influence in your own mental, spiritual and physical environment.) The fact is that we are saved through Christ's atonement, not by being determined and putting ourselves first. That's the biggest lie that bothers me the most.
