My mom was an alcoholic (often abusive) who didn't allow me to wear underwear....I guess it made my butt easier to beat.....until I got a job and bought my own. Only wore them about ten years til I met my husband and we made our pact.

You'll have to find the whole story elswhere on here, but I'd been washing their clean panties for two years (because they never wore them but put them in the dirty laundry so I wouldn't know.) One day it all came out...everybody knew that nobody else was wearing undies and they all went in a fire. I believe they were eleven and thirteen at that time. I just want to know if I am over reacting and if this is something I should just get over. I also want to hear from others if possible to see if my experience pales in comparison to others. (Im sure it does, but reading about them may help me cope with it) Even though I am older than most of you, I gradually (at the urging of husband and daughters) started wearing shorter and shorter skirts and dresses to work.....and eventually completely disposed of all pants except a couple pair of jeans (which I don't wear to work) I don't know all the details, because I'm not sure I want to know, but they got in with this group of girls at school whose parents were all divorced. The group had three requirements for membership: 1. Female 2. Parents divorced 3. No panties ever. (I guess this was to somehow punish the parents)
