I received my bottle a few days ago. Wow, this is Layton without a doubt. Hard to say how many percent, but I would guess 95. My wife and son who is 16 like it. Detour noir has become my go to favorite as of late, I love everything about it. I first bought it this last fall and wore it then, now it’s spring time so it’s getting hot outside and still loving it in the warmer weather. When I first bought it I didn’t care for it much. It was ok, but just ok. After sitting for about a month with a handful of sprays out of it I tried again and it was like a different fragrance all together so it seems it needs to macerate. I find the longevity of it to be very good, I’ll put on a hoodie from the day before or longer and it has such a wonderful day after scent. If you are in the dating game this is the perfect thing to wear if you’re going to “accidentally” leave something at your dates house. The Actual Detour Rouge smells nothing like Detour Noir or PDM Layton. It's a sour/tart fresh profile with a sharp bergamot opening and some metallic notes from Violet. Absolutely amazing! Plus a performance beast, considering it's a semi-freshie. Vetiver Pamplemousse is a juicy Grapefruit, Orange and Vetiver fragrance. I apply Detour Rouge first and layer Vetiver Pamplemousse after. Don't spray on top of each other, spray detour rouge and vetiver pamplemousse next to each other on skin and clothes as well. hours longevity even on a new batch made early 2023. I sprayed this 3x on my GF and after a day at NASA literally 12 hours later I'm close with her and I still smelt it. I can only imagine as maceration occurs my bottle will only get stronger.

Layton is a little more sweet and maybe a little fresher, but projection and longevity is worse. Détour Noir is spicier and stronger.On the first spray I get sweet green apples and alcohol. Alcohol starts to disappear after a minute or so. I also get a lot of strong vanilla that combines well with crisp green apples. There is also a mild spicy ( cardamom ) undertone. It smells youthful, seductive and potent. In the far drydown it actually smells a bit like a spicy version of Ultra Male JPG.
