Description

Suntan lotion often contains certain oils that can cause grease stains. When sun cream ends up on your clothes, it can cause yellow or orange stains. Sun cream can stain clothes because of the ingredients it contains so it’s not unusual to notice an oily-looking mark on darker, coloured clothes, or a yellowish stain on white clothes after a day in the sun. The good news is that it’s simple to learn how to get sun cream stains out of clothes, especially when you’ve got a bottle of Persil small & mighty to hand! How to get sun cream out of clothes Suntan lotion or oil can cause yellow stains on fabric and clothes. Suntan lotion stains in clothing cannot be removed with regular detergents or stain removers. HG suntan lotion stain remover is the effective pre-treatment for suntan lotion stain removal from clothes and is suitable for white and coloured fabrics. Apply the solvent to toilet tissue. Now dab the sun cream stains. Rinse the garment and then put it in the washing machine. Many stains on your clothes? Soak the entire garment in the solvent. There’s nothing quite like being outdoors on a warm, sunny day, is there? Getting out and about during the summer is not only great for us, it’s great for our little ones, too. The sun boosts their Vitamin D stores, helping to keep them happy and healthy, but as a parent you’ll know just how important it is to make sure your child is protected when out in the sun.

When you head to the beach this summer, it’s a good idea to take an umbrella or parasol, sun cream, and, of course, some helpful hints on how to remove sun cream stains! With your excited, adventurous little ones raring to go as you try to apply sun cream, accidents are sure to happen. But don’t panic – sun cream stain removal is easier than you may think. In fact, it’s just as easy as removing chocolate ice cream stains, which is a piece of cake! Why does sun cream stain clothes?Put the treated fabric in the washing machine and wash it as usual with the recommended amount of main detergent at max 60°C.

Sprinkle baking soda, cornstarch, or other absorbent on the stain. Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes, and then vacuum. Apply soft household soap and hot water to the sun cream stains. Leave it to absorb for a few hours. Now scrub the stains with your hands or with a brush. Then wash the garment once or twice. Once that sun oil impregnates the fibers of your favorite top or shorts, it will leave an ugly yellowish stain (unless your shirt is an ugly yellowish shirt, in which case you’re good to go.) that is all but impossible to remove with normal detergents and stain removers. You may wish to use a chemical bleaching agent which is usually diluted with water before being applied to clothes. Always read the label, keep your area well ventilated, and ensure kids and pets are kept well out of the way.If the stain remains, mix one tablespoon of liquid hand dishwashing detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar with two cups of warm water.
