Butt-Monkey: In the one episode of the 90s series (namely Little Miss Wise's Day Out at the Fun Fair), Little Miss Naughty forces her to go to the carnival which she clearly doesn't enjoy whatsoever, especially at the end when Little Miss Naughty pulls a lever that causes plane ride machine to stop abruptly. The plane that Little Miss Wise is in breaks off and goes flying into the sky while Little Miss Wise says that she knew it wasn't a good idea to go to the amusement park at the very end of the episode. In another episode, she is sent on a wild joyride and crashes into many things. Beyond the Impossible: Somehow he thought living on the ground was 'too high up' so he moved into a treehouse 'to be nearer the ground'. Naturally, this is taken to be nonsense. All the animals and flowers that saw Mr Funny in his show-car laughed so hard, they laughed themselves in two, laughed their tails off or laughed themselves out of the ground. Foolish Sibling, Responsible Sibling: A cousin variant with Mr. Clumsy. Mr. Fussy is always keeping things neat and tidy whereas Mr. Clumsy is always tripping over and breaking things.

Karma Houdini: While Karma normally catches up to her whenever she does something bad, there are a few times where she doesn't receive comeuppance for her actions: Unwitting Instigator of Doom: Subverted in Mr. Mischief - A Spot Of Trouble. He gives Mr. Mischief the idea to infect everyone with measles by telling him that measles are catching but then Mr. Mischief chooses to try and infect Mr. Happy (Who had the measles once in Little Miss Helpful's book) only for Mr. Happy to turn out to have become immune to the measles, meaning no epidemic happened. Anyway, this isn't a book about living life fast but rather a book about how many of us are actually quite different, which is something that I have only recently discovered. While I like to try and see as much as possible, and will rush through a museum exhibit taking a multitude of photos, the person that sits next to me at work isn't necessarily like that. In fact while I might be counting down that days for my next trip to a place I have never been to before she is counting down to the day she goes to a place she has been to a multitude of times before because she knows that she loves that place and doesn't need to always to go some place new.Mr. Busy is just that, he sure is busy. He is also really fast at doing things. He zips here and zips there and gets so much done that he has to bother his neighbor Mr. Slow. Have you had that friend that comes over and rushes you and expects you to do things just because they said to. Well, Mr. Slow is not interested in a Picnic with Mr. Busy and being rushed. Mr. Slow comes into Mr. Busy’s house and forces him to do what he wants and Mr. Slow is unhappy about it. This is out story. Super-Strength: Mr. Strong's defining characteristic is his incredible physical strength. He lifts an entire barn, flips it upside down to fill it with water from a river, and carries the now much heavier barn to put out the fire consuming a farmer's cornfield. All without breaking a sweat.] Butt-Monkey: Nobody in Badland were ever friendly towards him and they always acted ungrateful for his niceness. Think I’m right in stating that as a boy I had all the pre-1990 Mr Men books with the possible exception of “Mr Snow”. Looking at all the covers apart from the latter jogged my memory.

Little Miss Chatterbox's house is actually Mr. Greedy's house. Also the exact same house is one of the houses whose chimneys Mr. Busy would later drop pizzas down near the end of the episode. Rivals: Mr. Rude, Mr. Mean, Little Miss Naughty, Little Miss Scary, Mr. Busy And Mr. Bustle, Little Miss Bossy Easy Amnesia: In "Mr. Bump Loses His Memory", where he gets so injured from falling out his window he forgets who he is, easily accepting Mr. Muddle's suggestion that his name is 'Mr. Careful'. Karma Houdini: She normally pays for being bossy and demanding, but there is one moment where she gets away with being rude: Due to him being the first character created and published, his story contains several differences compared to later Mr. Men and Little Miss books:Big Eater: Mr. Strong has a huge appetite, but only for one food - eggs, the source of his incredible physical strength. In one episode of Mr. Men and Little Miss, Little Miss Chatterbox asked him if he was related to Mr. Rush who was himself related to Mr. Fussy. Beware the Nice Ones: Mr. Happy's a kind person for the most part and willing to help cheer people up but he's far from incapable of getting angry or comitting acts of mischief. Ironic Name: She's not as helpful as her name implies. In fact, she’s the epitome of the proverb that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Vile Villain, Saccharine Show: The Midnight Tree is one of the few antagonists in the series that tries to kill somebody. Arc Number: They live in a place called Twoland, which unsurprisingly is where ‘Two’, ‘Twice’ and ‘Double’ are commonplace in names, where pairs can be found everywhere, where it is not uncommon to do things twice or eat two of a foodstuff, and where everyone repeats the last words of all their sentences. Little Miss Magic, it was nice of you to stop Mr. Greedy from eating a poisoned apple but would it have hurt you to just use your magic powers to de-poison the apple? Beauty Is Bad: Although she is as splendid as her name implies, her personality isn't exactly splendid what with her snobbery. It then became a cause for concern as Father Christmas found there was too much snow to deliver the presents to the children. He had to find someone to help him.

Little Miss Trouble

after Tramp screams "I said a LOG PULLERRRRR!" I ain't deaf, sonny. There's no need to... Did you say "log puller"?
