HeroQuest was a smash hit for tabletop gaming, as well as becoming a gateway to tabletop roleplaying games like Dungeons & Dragons for millions of players. The game also influenced later tabletop board games that came after, including Games Workshop’s own Warhammer Quest, board games based on D&D, and recent games such as Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. hQuestBuilder is really great and I hope that you will make it a part of your regular quest building toolkit! Zatu has an excellent range of games and for most of them the best prices too. Delivery is always fast and I have never received a game in bad condition. 10/10 would recommend. The dramatic story of treachery and unrest in the elven kingdom continues in this HeroQuest Rise of the Dread Moon expansion! As a brave knight, you’re challenged to finally free Elethorn from the clutches of Zargorn. Embark on dangerous quests, as you seek the aid of the Cadre of the Raven's Veil to help stop Zargorn's forces of Dread from destroying the kingdom. Navigate through a dark labyrinth of waterways, an underground city, and more perilous locations. But be wary—for Zargon's forces grow ever stronger with the rise of the Dread Moon! As we know, crafting materials will be available to create potions. How will this work and how to our Heroes collect these materials. If it is based on Dark Company I would expect them to follow suit from the Frozen Horror's practice of having all in one sculpts of the mercs (rather than having detachable weapons), so the total minis would probably be 24 to account for all the variants IF that's what this is. First off, in this post we finally get an official size for the Barbarian. He’s 6’7″, that’s huge! No wonder he plows through goblins like they’re not even there!

For the Dread Wraith, I’ve got an Air Elemental. The actual mini appears to take up 2 spaces, I’ll try to emulate this as best as possible, my Air Elemental takes up 4 spaces, similar to The Frozen Horror. The Dread Cultist will be subbed in for my Crimson Courtiers from Altar Quest. For the Assassin, I’ll be using the Cutpurse, also from Altar Quest. Playtest #1: Dread Wraith, Cultist, & Specters I can already see at this point that this will be a difficult encounter for the Heroes. Now it’s Zargon’s Turn!

Reputation should be gained 1 for each quest completed. Also an ethereal monster, and one that isn’t what we thought. Common belief was that the Dread Wraith would show up as a boss character, it looks more likely to just be a really powerful entity in Zargon’s ranks.
