Description

Light Feminine and Dark Feminine: Tarot and Raven Hex. You probably would not even realize that they were sisters given the contrast. The series is a mixture of action, tits, magic, tits, neo-pagan propaganda, tits, Author Tracts, and tits.

Tarot has tried to use the Tarot cards to find the whereabouts of her sister Raven but finds that her sister's sorcery is preventing her from getting a location. One question i have is does Jon know about Boo being a previous lover who disappeared on Tarot and the feelings that are still there? I would expect Tarot to have been honest with him due to how much she IS fantasizing about it that it could be a problem. Raven Hex plans to use spells to bring about a time of terror for mankind and prosperity for all followers of the craft. Jon tells her he has no idea how he could locate her sister but his best bet would be going to talk with The Twins and asking them the whereabouts of their body. Tarot is surprised and asks him if he means they can sense their body. Rule of Cool: In Tarot's world, each President of the United States is expected to wear Powered Armor and fight evil in the name of the country, making every one since the founding of the country an expy of Iron Man (or, in the case of George Washington and his battlesuit, Wood Man?).

Creation

She tells him that it is a long-abandoned tower of high witchery that is kept hidden from the eyes of mortals through the use of sorcery, Jon is overjoyed that Tarot knows of this place and tells her that they can bring The Twins along to locate the exact floor of the body.

That's what I'm saying. I'm not saying it should happen, because it would be cool, I'm asking if it will, because that's what things are leading up to.

Origin

Ghostly Animals: Jon the Skeleton Man is perpetually accompanied by his loyal ghost dog Wraith, who resembles a ghostly canine skeleton.

Bullying a Dragon: You'd think that people wouldn't bully/persecute witches who have actual actual magic powers. You'd be wrong. Too Soon: Averts 9/11 taboos in "Hex in the City," when the ghosts of FDNY members deactivate a nuke in New York City. Yes, really. Burn the Witch: The townies want to do it, and the fact that it happened in the past drives Raven's hatred.

There is one thing i am curious to is how Jon's religion or personal belief would affect all this. I know he wasn't raised wiccan but nothing more is ever touched on where he came from or where he is going on his own spiritual path especially after "living" in Tarot's world for awhile. You know his mind has been broaden, but his character is pretty much being kept as the boyfreind who can see ghosts, works as a cemetary worker and is Tarot's lover and is a big comic geek (aren't we all ? As i stated in other posts, i would love to see his character in a one-shot or mini explaining some of his past. Awkwardly Jon answers that he is indeed doing better and Rowan tells him that she is glad but he must now follow her to discuss things. As he follows her he asks if she removed his costume and she answers yes, as it was the only way she could tend to his injuries. Babies Ever After: A possible future has Tarot and Raven each having a child fathered by Jon. As Tarot is unable to have children, the possibility of this future is in the air. Eye Scream: In an early issue Raven uses the spikes on her nipples to put out a man's eyes for commenting on her breasts.

Clothing Damage: Tarot will lose some, if not all of her clothes every other issue; it's reached the point where one wonders why she even bothers to wear anything. In issue #39, a possible future reveals that Jon and Tarot are married and have a child, and then she and Raven ask him to father Raven's child as well. As seen on the trope image, it turns out well. Too Dumb to Live: Crops up a few times, but Latex Red gets the prize; she called in a missile strike on her exact location. A dragon witch from the Realm Beyond the Mist, she is often seen as an enemy of Tarot, however by the Code that she lives by...she cannot allow any harm to come upon a fellow witch, unless its by her. Tarot asks him why the ghosts just don't appear and scare people off on their own but Jon tells her most of them find it difficult to do when he's not there and he believes it to be because of his near death experience. He then tells her that's the conclusion of his story and that now all he needs is his costume and they can hunt Raven down.Tail Whip: The Dragon Witches famously use their tails to lash Jon during his stay in the realm beyond the mists in issue #10.
