Think of some questions that you would like to ask the author. Here is a video in which he gives tips about writing funny stories: If Jeremy wasn't a writer he would want to play the piano really, really well, or be a terrific artist. The Hundred-Mile-an-Hour Dog | Jeremy Puffin Storytime | The Hundred-Mile-an-Hour Dog | Jeremy

A madcap story of Dazzy Donut Dog, aka Streaker, whose hilarious antics and outrageous exploits barely keep pace with the tornado that is Streaker, the fastest dog in the world. Jeremy Strong is a fantastic children's author. His books are side splittingly funny and once you have read one your children will be asking you to get more. Clever story and FUN! Since my own dog is of similar character and a speed demon himself one could easily exchange his name for Streaker. I read this with my 6 year old. We thought it was funny & enjoyed the ridiculous things Trevor got up to with his dog, Streaker & his friend, Tina. At the end of Chapter Nine, Sergeant Smugg threatens to have Streaker put down. Write a persuasive letter to him that encourages him to change his mind.

Daily Reading: The Hundred-Mile-An-Hour Dog - Chapter 3 Daily Reading: The Hundred-Mile-An-Hour Dog - Chapter 3

This book is absolutely awful and I’d recommend everyone avoids it. I would have given it zero stars and that would have still been too many. Read the information about the author on the inside cover and think of some questions that you would like to ask him. Alfie's parents are very silly, and it's no time at all until young Alfie shows common sense beyond his years. Soon, he is headteacher, town mayor and prime minister of the country - all before his ninth birthday. Giggles and guffaws aplenty. When he was about eighteen he started writing very serious stories for adults, but none of them were published. By the time he was twenty-one he was writing stories for children after realizing that he loved writing funny stories and making people laugh.
