If nothing else, Tessa Bailey's books are so so so easy to read and enjoy. Which is also to say that I enjoyed this! I enjoyed Wes and Bethany. I liked their story, I like their romance, I REALLY liked Wes's niece. It wasn't spectacular though, I wasn't blown away. And Piper feels like first time she belongs to somewhere. Can she leave her shiny, glamorous, partying LA life behind to be with this irresistible captain!

No he does not pine after his dead wife, thank lord. His actions are more out of obligation than emotion I already told too much. I feel like I’m your chatty neighbor who speaks without breathing when she loves something passionately. But I truly loved this book soooo much! Esto me lleva al siguiente punto que es que, por el exceso de clichés, la novela es absurdamente predecible, y, por lo mismo, nada tiene el impacto que debería tener. El conflicto final no se siente tan dramático como quisiera porque ya sabes que va a venir, y esto sin contar que el conflicto es absurdamente estúpido porque se hubiera podido resolver con una pequeña charla. Antes desarrollar más este asunto de “un romance más del montón”, creo que es importante aclarar que lo que mencionaré son cosas que no todos se darían cuenta o que les molestaría. En lo personal, yo soy un poco payasa con respecto al tema de clichés y todo eso, no me molestan siempre, pero eso depende mucho de como son utilizados o escritos. Sin embargo, regresando al punto, es que si eres un lector que los clichés y todo lo que eso infiere no le molestan, entonces lo que mencionaré abajo no es algo que aplique mucho para ti. The base plot was fantastic, if a bit dramatic at times. Bethany steps away from the family business to strike out on her own, and they end up filming a reality show.
