The Flymo Glider Compact 330AX is an electric hover mower with a grass collector (petrol hover mowers are available, but these tend to be quite rare). The 330AX has a reasonably powerful 1700w motor (the Turbo Lite 330 has a 1150w motor in comparison) that should help cutting longer grass easier. Assembly – I got a pleasant surprise when I unboxed this mower as it was already set up for me. It was great as there was no need to break out the toolbox, no need to try and decipher poorly written instructions and no need to use any of my free time setting it up. Unboxing took just a few minutes and I was plugged in and ready to go in no time at all.

You need to shut the mower off, unplug it and then flip it over. You get plastic spacers in the box with this mower and you need to use these to get a closer cut.By adding spacers underneath the blade, the blade is lowered and your grass is cut shorter. In total you’ll find three spacers in the box and you can cut from 12 mm to 32 mm.
