The acclaimed Grip Trilogy has been bundled into a box set for the first time, and the whole series has new covers! Grip has been working hard to work on a mission that's very close to his heart.. he has an opportunity now to make this dream come true, to spread the word and help others. The opportunity to get closer and make his project real is finally here, he is ready to move to another city to accomplish all this.. now is just a matter of time to see what's about to unfold. I cannot, even if I tried, Love Marlon aka GRIP more than I do - My heart is completely full. He is absolute PERFECTION!!! In soo many different ways. I'm just "Whoa" #woo #swooned #LoveGrip4Life

The story of Grip and Bristol continues and this time we get to see so much more about their struggles and beautiful moments. Grip is the typical boy who comes from the wrong side of the neighborhood but his mamma kept him away from the wrong side... Grips is a fighter he is trying to make something of himself.. he has a very deep soul, he is persistent, a very talented hip hop artist trying to make his way in the music industry Bristol works as his Manager making their relationship a lot of harder... I can easily tell that Kennedy Ryan is a huge fan and admirer of poetry. Her prose feels just like that. Poetry. Her words flows with ease, gently pulls my along like a wave and I'm immersed. I'm in another world, the world of Kennedy Ryan and that's definitely the place to be.The love and the chemistry between Grip and Bristol will flow since the being .. there will be chemistry and understanding .. It only took a few glances for Grip to fall for Bristol. but he cannot deny the attraction and his feelings. Will Bristol and Grip give their love a chance? Still- I k now I sound like a broken record but what I really loved about the book, this series, is the connection that these two characters feel for one another. Being an interracial couple comes with stigmas but Grip and Bristol don't buy into them. There are those against them, those for them, and those that placate them because they believe they won't last. The issues that they face are real, ugly, and hurtful at times but because of their deep commitment towards one another, they are able to rise above it all. It's not easy at times but they forever Feel, Trust, and Believe. I felt it, I believed it, and Grip and Bristol totally demonstrated...... There are so many important lessons to be learnt in this novel and the author must be given high praise for writing and successfully portraying these hot-topic social issues.

Bristols career is going great, with so many new artist and contracts under her wing, she decides to follow Grip on his moving plans.. life is about to change for both of them.. so many new challenges and new things to fight for.. but their love is stronger than ever and nothing can break them apart. Don't let me keep telling you about it and GO grab your copy of GRIP and I garantee you that you will love it as much as I do and will be in a MAYOR BOOK HANGOVER when you finish.

Publication Order of Grip Books

Grip, is a good friend of Bristols brother, Rhyson. he happens to be the one to meet her up at the airport, a meeting that will change the life of them forever.. he didn't expect to see her, he didn't expect to have feelings for her, not the little sister of his best friend. Grip has dreams, he is an aspiring rapper artist. He likes to recite poetry, poetry that will keep Bristol and all of us swooning. I loved how this author broke down the different dynamics of Bristol and Grip's past and formed it into something worth waiting for. It was built up into something so monumental. The struggles that they have as colleagues, friends, then lovers is something that we don't see much in romance books. How this author interweaves points on racism and class wars into such a beautiful love story is brilliant. In my review of GRIP I said I couldn't possibly love Grip(Marlon) more.. I was proven wrong. My heart grew to make room for MORE love for Grip and Bristol. I love them both #relationshipgoals We splinter into a thousand pieces..., becoming more together than we were apart. More than we were alone. With whispered promises and words of love, we exchange hearts. Still is an endearing love story of two people, who know what unconditional love is. That no matter what life throws at them they'll face it together.

I reread this on Kindle as a complete box set with all the books and some extras short stories that can be seen as extended epilogues. I recommend it you will get some extra goodness for Bristol & Grip!! When things are out of control, he’s always my peace, always my sigh of relief. He’s the reminder that comes what may, there’s us, and we aren’t going anywhere—ever." In flow, we can see the beginning of the story of Grip and Bristol.. their dreams and hopes ... the journey of their friendship and love. you can see and understand the chemistry between them. With Flow, a short prequel, I got not just a hint but a pretty damn good look into how they first met and how deep their relationship goes. Especially on a personal level. Their interactions were phenomenal and I loved how comfortable they were around each other. They reveled in each other's company and their conversations flowed effortlessly, layered with so much intensity. I couldn't remove my eyes from the intoxicating prose and words of Kennedy Ryan. Grip and Bristol were amazing and turned out to be very complex and multi layered characters. I loved the range and depth of their conversations which were a great mixture of race and culture. Also their own views and opinions of today's and the 90's society played a huge part of this story and I appreciate that Ryan chose to go that route with Grip and Bristol. My impression and love for both of them only expanded and I got so much more excited as the story progressed.Phenomenal characters! This story has touched all my feelings and the deepest part of my heart and mind. The development of Marlon and Bristol's relationship was fascinating. I was not only enamored but was also given food for thought. The real life struggles they endured as a couple and also as individuals was empowering. I feel like a better person after reading this. How do I start this review and do justice to this incredible book. This was my first book from Kennedy Ryan and definitely wont be my last. It's a real romance with actual and still present issues. It presents the struggles of interracial couples, the divide by the color of skin and social class. The writing is literally "POETRY" and I hope it will evoke in you all the amount of incredible feelings that took and twisted my heart. Grip has all that you as a contemporary romance reader would love in a book. You will not want to put this book down and it will takes you months to get over the hangover. Life lessons will be impart and stay with you to help you be a better person. It would make your heart pound in crescendo, your hands sweat, your nails may be non-existent, your undies will definitely get soaked and even your kindle may suffer from a trow to the wall jajajaj.
