I personaggi sono tutti ben delineati e alcuni volutamente ambigui nei loro comportamenti e azioni per destare sospetti nel lettore. Sì, perchè il dubbio è in aguato come il pericolo... per Icy? o per qualcun'altro? And next we have Tristan, the boy she loves who doesn't believe in angels, and yet he winds up becoming one. Oh the irony :) I really like Tristan. I loved his little quirks and his awkwardness in the beginning. Every time he would try to catch Ivy's attention, something embarrassing would happen. He was such an endearing character, plus I also loved the bond between Ivy's little brother, Philip, and him. I can't wait for Tristan to find out what his mission is as an angel and for him to learn all of his abilities.

I've passed this book multiple times at my local book store and now I've finally gotten around to reading it because of one of the challenges. This book is about Ivy and Tristan and how they are meant to be together. So then Tristin dies in a car accident, Ivy's world gets turned upside down. She used to believe in guardian angels, but not anymore. Only now Tristin is her guardian angel. Tristin is there to find his quest and figure out how to save Ivy even if she doesn't know he's there. The overall concept of this book was strange, but the cover was interesting so why not. I wasn't sure what the think about this book when heading in. It doesn't!" Tristan said. "I'll hold you again, I swear it, and you'll see that my love will never end." Then Ella was set lightly on the bureau top. Lacey's hands had done it. The entire book feels like a thirteen year old girl who might have an IDEA of what Hollywood expects of young romance would write. Felt like Dawson's creek about five years younger. Too many characters talking all at once, and not like teenagers talk anyway. And last but not least, we have the annoying secondary characters (Beth, Suzanne, and Gregory). The only person who was tolerable was Beth. Suzanne and her thirst for Gregory annoyed me. 95% of this book is Suzanne talking about Gregory and her wondering about who he's dating or whatever. I may have forgot to mention that Gregory is Ivy's stepbrother who's super shady. I can't stress how much I hate when you have an amazing book, but the secondary characters (usually best friends or siblings) ruin everything. Also, I really liked Gary, Tristan's best friend, at first but he turned out to be a douche as well.
