I do gotta say though that some of the things certain characters (such as Cam and Brady) said were a bit cringe imo but not that bad that I had to look away lol. Every girl wanted a bite, but who could blame them? They were model students, star athletes, and undercover bad boys. No matter a girl’s type, one of the three was sure to fit the bill. I'm not going to rate this book because it did bring out some emotions in me. I stewed in bed until I finally fell asleep and woke up still thinking about it. This is probably the longest review I've ever done. It probably makes zero sense because I am not a writer by any means.

I’m a smart man, Juliet,” he whispers, his gaze dropping to my lips. “Only a fool would let you go once they had you where they wanted you.” Book Genre: Academic, College, Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Fiction, Football, New Adult, Romance, Sports, Sports Romance Anyway… other than that minor inconvenience, the book was perfection! I loved every second of it! And I noticed that Meagan Brandy’s writing style has improved a lot since the last time I’ve read a book of hers and I’m very proud of her for that!! Wow, I didn’t expect to love this book so much and have so many emotions coursing through me. The story was beautiful and I loved it. Let's talk about the star of this book for me: Noah Riley. My sweet angel baby, Noah 🥰 Noah is so pure with a true heart of gold. I loved the way he adored his mom and the love he had for her. Noah is the definition of "he falls first" and "boy obsessed". He met Arianna by accident and was taken with her right away. He was caring, sweet, adoring, and absolute perfection. I loved how he paid attention to what was important to Arianna and made her life easier. Acts of service is definitely his love language and it showed in the way he took care of her. He deserves all the love in the world and has the patience of a saint. I would give anything to have him call me 'Juliet' or 'baby' 🥺 My heart broke for him after the tragedy and the events that unfolded. There's so much trauma that he'll have to work through and I just wanted to hold him.

This book took me on a ride the entire time and I couldn't put it down. I'll be honest that the beginning was hard for me to get into, but once we met Noah in chapter 4, I knew I needed to keep reading. The angst killed me, made me sob, and had me smiling all at the same time. There's so many things that happened in this book that I can't even though on because it would spoil it, but I will say it was a journey that left me forever changed. noah riley is the best book boyfriend of all time. i will forever adore him. he is the most selfless, most amazing human being to ever exist. i love the way he sacrificed himself in so many situations. and the love he had for his mom just melts my heart. Arianna is getting ready to start her first year of college and she hopes this is the year she can finally be with the man of her dreams. Chase. Her brother’s best friend. But things with Chase do not go as planned. Ari is in a close knit, family like friend group that consists of Ari, Cameron (Ari’s BFF), Mason (Ari’s twin brother), Brady and Chase. It puts a strain on the friend group at first, but things start to normalize.

Say You Swear: The smash-hit TikTok sensation with the book

I just love when a book makes you feel so many emotions throughout the process of reading it and this book did just that and more!! I rated it four stars purely because of the emotions and vibes I experienced during the book. However, there are a lot of plot holes, and the book didn't need certain additional plot elements (no spoilers here!) and probably didn't need to be as long as it is. It could have been shorter yet equally impactful. Ari is a real cutie. I loved her character and I’m just so glad that she got what she deserved after having gotten treated so badly by Chase. Like this is really not a great way to start. It's so cliche to already have a trio of super-hot guys that are all friends. But then the author tells us they're all also super smart, super athletic, and bad boys. Later we also learn that they're similar heights. So the only difference is their hair color I guess...When she meets Noah they become friends first. He teaches her to cook, talks with her and truly gets to know her. Noah is a gem of a man. QB of the football team, devoted son, and all around good guy. You can’t help but root for him. He’s not pushy with Ari, he knows she had feelings for someone else she’s getting over and he takes his time with her. I know it’s advertised as a love triangle but for my girlies that don’t like the trope… it’s not your typical love triangle where she is struggling a lot…. I feel like you are going to root for the person that she ends up with no matter what. (My opinion, of course) Say You Swear could have easily stood on its own as a standalone novel, as the side characters had minimal impact on the main plot so it could have cleared up a lot of confusion if they weren’t added. Since i haven't read one review mentioning this, let me tell you the premise of the story is in fact a FREAKING LOVE TRIANGLE. I'm obviously in the minority here.. but I couldn't. I DNFd @ 35%. If you want to read my rant about this book scrollllllll down. FYI I read the synopsis when adding this to my TBR before it was out. So of course when it came out, I saw all the gushing over it, and I went straight in not reading the synopsis since that TBR add.. so I really went in blind.. not to mention the synopsis did a crap job of explaining this book.

And just as your were hoping for some good news, Noahs second tragedy happens and my heart breaks for him. He was so broken, from what happened to Ari that when his mother passes he's barely holding on.It basically starts with the kids spending the summer at the families beach house. Because of what happens to her and her life long crush with one of their friends, Chase, college doesnt start off that well for Ari. She's hurt, even though she wanted it to happen. Its not what she did that hurt her, but how the friend she thought she loved responded to it, telling her it was a mistake, and withdrawing from her. let me just say, the hype is real! i went into this pretty blind, not knowing much other than a few of the tropes and i’m so glad i did. this book is by far one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking books i’ve ever read. It has so many other tropes that I don’t want to spoil but if you want to know… look at the bookshelves here. For example, when the heroine is telling us (lots of telling in this book) about her twin brother and his two best friends, we get: MY ONLY NEGATIVE: The writing could be better, the only face people would do it’s a frown and smile. That kinda annoyed me but it didn’t bother me that much. Also, its long and could be couple of chapters shorter but other than that every chapter is important and you see it in the couple of chapters in the end.
