I think how they tied the blood wraith into who Legion Gray was and how he was and how he is actually valid the last nightprints really sets up the rest of the series and how Ari it comes in to play for the next book. Elara’s encounters with the cursed inhabitants serve as mirrors reflecting the deeper aspects of human nature—fear, anger, regret, and the potential for change. the way the story progresses kept me very engaged as a reader, which is what i want from this common type of fantasy book.
