This wine is first matured in traditional wine barrels, followed by a second maturation in Caribbean rum barrels to build additional layers of complexity and new nuances. Rum is the latest innovation for the Double Barrel range, which was chosen due to its flavour profile of fruit and cacao lending itself perfectly to red wine.
