The powdery scent is completely gone and it turns into something completely masculine like a totally different beast. I think this would be great for someone starting out their collection who is in their early teens, especially the way it smells now.

On my skin it starts kind of lemony and in an hour or so drifts towards cinnamon, even though cinnamon is not listed in the notes, and stays there. The overall effect is an elegant-smelling scent that prioritizes feeling fresh and clean over alluring seduction. I can see how some would not like it for certain aspects of it, but its so cheap you can't really go wrong. Big citrus" lingers well into the heart and the drydown, fading, but disappearing only towards the end, when the sandalwood and musk combine with a touch of vanilla.

Very bright, lively, fresh and very very cheerful, Versace Blue Jeans is an instant winner with alll who try its aromatic delights. Blue Jeans lasts for around 6 hours, with is very competitive for a cologne that doesn’t rely on deep notes for its staying power. when i wore this, my father was like "i know this smell", and then i told him that it was the versace blue jeans.

Maybe its my dry white skin ( which sucks at performance I halve most peoples rough times) but this also gives me a fly spray note its disturbingly similar.I don’t know if it used to be any different from the old formula, but the reformulation is still nice.

The projection is only there for the citrusy top notes and throughout some of the heart notes, so do not expect a performance beast with longevity- even if you do overspray it. You can not hate on this fragrance, it's a very versatile, long-lasting fragrance and overall a great masculine scent.This was one of my first designer fragances i brought, it smells like clean clothes and i love it for that, super fresh clean scent that keeps me on a good mood through the day. Not terribly impressed with the longevity or sillage either, it only lasted me about 3 hours and didn't project incredibly well either. This is kind of a olfactory version of the Beach Boys song "Baby Blue", smooth sweet and easy listening (smelling). Blue Jeans is a powerhouse of a fragrance, it's been around since the early 90s and has always been consistent on its pricing and value for money. It's comfortable to wear with casual or elegant gear and, with its blend of citrusy and woody notes, goes comfortably with any season and any weather, movie night at home or a day at the office.

It has a bright citrus opening--and, yes, there are slight bug spray vibes momentarily--then a sweetly pleasant vanilla, and it all dries down to a really soft, dry, believable sandalwood. But give it time cause the woods and musk will definitely bring out more smooth spiciness that will make the fragrance come through. But into the dry down these seems to settle into exactly what the main accords describe, an aromatic fresh spicey woody. Incredibly well balanced with the main accords, and does not have a hint of cheapness in the drydown.
