If you are a registered camper and bring your own tubes, you can simply walk your own tubes down to the campground launch. From there you have two choices. You can either tube all the way to Blue Run of Dunnellon Park– an approximate 4-hour float requiring that you leave a vehicle at the County Park exit – or exit at the State Park Tubing Exit. We recommend the board up to a paddler weight of about 210 lbs. When I tried the Sailor touring board I have felt that it is quite durable. I haven’t heard of any issues and for touring or recreational paddling I have no concerns. It is not quite as rigid as a solid SUP – but then I wouldn’t expect it to be. However, I certainly wouldn’t be able to fit a non-inflatable SUP in my car. Where as the Rainbow stores away easily and I could even take on holiday.

The park entrance is about 2 miles up river, against the current. Once you enter the State Park, swimming is prohibited, except in the designated swimming area. It’s roped off. There’s a sign.
