Base Stained Joinery - Lightly abraded in the direction of the grain but do not break the surface coating. Allow to dry for 16-24 hours before applying another coat or 2 coats of an appropriate top coat such as Sadolin Yacht Varnish or Sadolin Extra Woodstain.
