My intention was to give it to my hubby because he's been a little sad lately that his beloved Bvlgari Black is almost gone. E., when I had only three fragrances, that I needed to savor the remaining 1/4 of the juice for now?

The opening can be a bit much on the grapefruit, but it is quickly mitigated by neroli and that amazing tea note. At first it's all shimmering citrus and pepper, then the Asian tea vibe and light sandalwood shine along with the pepper and a hint of balsam sweetness and iris over cedar and musk.

Its a guaranteed mood lifter that projects arms length throughout the day with above average longevity.

Purchased a decant recently just for nostalgia, and while it did conjur some memories, it saddened me at how differnt it has become. I wouldn't recommend this one for any person living in a hot climate country as it will disappear so quickly then become a skin scent for not over 2 hours at best. It is the only one of their fragrances (one of the only ones in the world anymore) that doesn't have this ubiquitous fragrance chemical that turns my stomach! Besides, I did expect the cap to be metal (like the same bottle design for women), but it is bad quality chromed light weight plastic! My husband loves this too and it looks like I need to get him a backup bottle or two because he keeps reaching for this over his other warm-weather fragrances.

Even the "extreme" version is not "extreme" for today standards (but is different and, a pity, stronger, too strong for me).

It is sexy not in seductive way, but sexy in a way that it makes your personality so good and clean. They have this chemical that is in 90% of the fragrances to come on the market in the last 10 years, male and female, and I cannot scrub it off my skin fast enough!This dances close to generic (or at least imitated by followers) but maintains it's originality with the warmth from the tea. This has a light White Musk base, the effect after drydown is ethereal - where the layers are just airy and transparent. Either way it’s still a 10/10 scent so I won’t be disappointed if I screwed up and they’ve brought it back.

Light sillage trail is detectable for several hours and projection is a 2-3 feet for me for the first few hrs. It was really high time for me to have/get a new fragrance since the last one I had which I used for almost ten years was not 'ME' anymore. It is a pity and I am glad that I experienced this one, but this is not one that I will necessarily miss.in my country this frag was very famous in the 2000s, the first time I got it was in 2011 when my ex used it, at that time I didn't know this was a man's perfume, and of course she liked it. Extreme is rather complex and probably requires at least a few full wearings before it is understood. Be careful though because the inital blast of this fragrance might give people headaches from that strong Grapefruit note if you apply too much. This is a dark, orangy/tangerine fragrance with a hint of tea that smells sophisticated and deep but not fresh or clean. Since then, tea has been a signature note for this brand, incorporated successfully in many compositions in the 90s and early 2000s.
