After lots of rinsing, shampooing and blow drying I was so pleased with the result. I have not applied any dye to my hair, this is literally the colour that it went after removing the lotion. I love the colour and I also love the ombre type effect where the lengths have had more colour build up on them. I was planning on dying my hair but, having seen the colour it has gone, I am actually so happy and will be leaving it the colour it turned out. The finished result after rinsing, shampooing & blow drying

Permanent hair dye replaces some of your natural hair colour molecules with artificial colour molecules. So what a hair colour remover does is get inside your hair shafts and dissolves the bonds holding the colour molecules together. It also shrinks the molecules. I have been toying with the idea of changing my hair colour for a few weeks. I am currently a medium golden brown and I would like to go blonde. I haven’t been dying my hair every often lately in an attempt to grow my hair but I haven’t found my hair is better off without dying (still really the same situation not growing and lots of fall out) so I thought stuff it. I never really wanted to go darker my hair was a lovely bleach blonde a couple of years ago with micro ring extensions and I loved it, but I thought the bleaching with taking its toll on my hair so I had the extensions removed and went to a dark brown. I have only been redoing my roots every 2-3 months but now I have the problem at the tender age of 29 GREY HAIRS! Yes you read that right I have grey hairs 😦 If you are thinking about removing your permanent hair colour, we found five really effective and safe hair colour removers online. Here they are. An easy and safe way to remove hair dye is using a hair colour remover. They are very effective on permanent hair dye and easy to apply at home. The best part is that they don’t contain bleach. So they remove the dye without stripping off your natural hair colour or weakening your hair. How do hair colour removers work? Hair colour remover is effective, but it does smell pretty grim. You can get rid of the lingering odour by using some natural remedies: baking soda mixed with water in a spray and sprayed all over your hair is a good solution.

4. I heard there is a smell.

While most hair colour removers require that you wait several days or even weeks before you apply new colour, you can re-colour your hair immediately after using the L’OREAL ColorZap colour remover. In fact, L’OREAL advices that you plan to re-dye your hair immediately. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Colourless for agreeing to send me their product to review. I couldn’t be happier with the result. I applied the mixture, which went on really easily. In my experience with home hair colours, it is difficult (and often painful) to try and comb the dye through but, thankfully, the lotion in Colourless Hair Colour Remover is easy to comb through. You can do up to 3 Colour Remover applications in a day. When doing a big Colour clean out allow for 2 Colour Removing sessions for the best result. During the first session apply 2 Colour Remover processes directly after each other, then allow the Hair to settle for 24 hours. Followed by a second session of 1 or 2 more Colour Remover applications, depending on the Hairs needs. 9. Post Colour Remover Colouring is different. Ok so, for me, this is a slightly different blog to usual because it’s not Makeup related but I do think that this is something my readers would enjoy and be interested in.

The Scott Cornwall hair colour remover is bleach and ammonia free. It’s gentle and safe on your hair. While bleach colour removers leave your hair feeling dry and flaky, this one doesn’t affect the condition and health of your hair. One thing to note: When talking about hair colour removers, we are talking about permanent hair colour removers. Most hair colour removers work best on permanent, not semi-permanent, hair colour. For semi-permanent dye, you can either rinse it out or wait for it to fade on its own. This hair colour remover claims to remove both permanent and semi-permanent hair dye. A majority of customers report positive results with a few complaints here and there. But the biggest issue is the smell which can last for several days.

Yes, Warmth will happen — It’s actually a good sign of a successful Colour clean out and is a leftover from the Developers of your previous Colours. Red, Coppers and Blondes leave behind more Warmth than other Shades which is all solvable with re Colouring or Toning. 8. How many times can I Colour Remove?

The Scott Cornwall Decolour strips out all kinds of permanent hair dye and you can reapply hair colour immediately. It’s free of ammonia, bleach and other harsh chemicals. So it doesn’t dry out your hair or make it brittle. This means that you can safely re-colour your hair immediately after de-colouring it. This is another hair colour remover designed to work on both permanent and semi-permanent dye. Like the Colour B4 permanent and semi-permanent remover, it also smells somewhat awful. It will be some days before the smell is out of your hair. Once rinsed, apply half the bottle of the buffer solution and work it into the hair as you would a normal shampoo.
