This desk EQ tries real hard, and almost get it right, but does not boost the treble at all, and the boost is centered right at 2kHz, making a flaw in the speaker's natural response way worse. I suspect the measurement showed room modes but it was too aggressive in cutting them back seeing how with a small speaker some amount of room reinforcement should be left in there. As someone who is used to headphones sound with EQ, I can tell you that these were my best investment. Only downside in my personal opinion is lack of balanced inputs as usually Sound interfaces have balanced outputs via TRS so you you would need adapter cable to connect these into professional audio interface.
