It's a bit of a faff to install, running cables etc, but that would be the case with any car audio gear. The subwoofer is also equipped with a variable crossover and a phase switch, allowing you to adjust the sound to your preferences. I've connected it up with a Y RCA cable, single cable from subwoofer out on the pioneer head unit to double RCA ends connected at the subwoofer end but no sound is coming out.
