Described as a beauty fluid, the illuminator comes in two shades Peach and Pink and I opted for Peach which is the warmer of the two shades and shows up as a very pale peach. I really didn't want to have to use the brush, taking up all the product and holding bacteria so I just took a pair of pliers and pulled it off. Despite the brush applicater, this is a very nice product to use if you want to hide the dull and pale complexion.

Powder gets dusty on my face, gets mixed with particles of dry skin that peels off and it looks horrible! It gives a lovely subtle glow and leaves my skin looking glowy, dewy and youthful, without making it appear oily or greasy. When I’m back to work and need a bit more cover I’ll try mixing it with my foundation or as a highlighter as recommended. As a dry skin girl I like very thick moisturisers packed full of hydration and the Dermalogica Pure Night is super hydrating without that sticky feeling. I use a light amount for a daytime look (to highlight my browbones and cheekbones) on top of no7 tinted moisturiser and for a more evening look I use a little more to get that amazing glow that always lasts all night. I don't personally use the brush, it just doesn't go on as nice as and blend aswell as it does with my fingers.
