To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

The name "Haku" means "white" in Japanese, and this vodka is named for its clear, clean, and luminous spirit. If you are looking for a specific bottle requirement it is recommended that you verify with us before making a purchase.Capitalizing on the ancestral know-how of Shōchū, sometimes (wrongly) nicknamed Japanese vodka, and on the ability of Japanese distilleries to appropriate and reinvent spirits from around the world, Japanese vodka remains marginal but it is not no less noteworthy. It's super smooth, almost creamy when neat, and blends well with whatever mixer you want to throw it in.

Made from a harvest of long grain indica rice which is inoculated with black kōji, fermented and then distilled into the Awamori spirit. To convey it as a Japanese Craft Vodka, we use Japanese material with a touch of artisanal quality — simple and pure. It may not be reproduced in any way whatsoever without Zoom by Ocado's prior consent, nor without due acknowledgement. We recommend that you do not rely solely on the information presented here and that you always read labels, warnings, and directions before using or consuming a product.Suntory developed its own multiple distillation process as a result each botanical contributes to Roku Gin’s perfectly balanced mix. It has a smooth finish with a sophisticated, pleasantly lingering sweetness thanks to the bamboo charcoal filtration process. Through the curved lines on the bottle, we represent the stream glistening through Japanese nature and Japan’s four seasons.

While we have taken care in preparing this summary and believe it is accurate, it is not a substitute for your reading the product packaging and label prior to use. Drinks will be chilled in 30-45 minutes and will be kept cold for several hours, especially if kept in the shade. Produced by Japan's famed House of Suntory, renowned for whisky from Yamazaki, Hakushu, Hibiki and more, this craft vodka is made with 100% Japanese white rice. Inside every bottle of Roku Gin, you will find six very special botanicals that are sourced in Japan. Milled and polished to perfection, white rice is revered for its mild and subtly sweet flavor – it’s the ultimate symbol of Japan. Not only are Roku Gin’s ingredients of the highest quality, many are also uniquely Japanese and, therefore, best understood by Japanese artisans. These represent Suntory's commitment to only use the best ingredients harvested from the best growing areas in Japan.

Complex and dense body; starts with soft sweet winter wheat followed by a nutty note and finally a complex dryness that flaunts the rye with a peppery note on the end. The bright blue colour is what it’s known for, alongside the surprisingly fresh taste of oranges, both the peel and flesh.

If you do require precise ingredient information you should consult the manufacturer, whose contact details will appear on the packaging or label. It’s the signature of House of Suntory‘s “Monozukuri” craftsmanship, and Haku is the new iteration of that philosophy. Rye, spice and barley malt come through alongside butterscotch and vanilla, rounded the drink off perfectly. Founded in 1899, the House of Suntory was built on Shinjiro Torii’s dream, who at the age of 20 wanted to “create original Japanese spirits blessed with the riches of Japanese nature and ‘monozukuri’ craftsmanship” – which means a relentless pursuit for perfection, meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
